I am a little north of Charlotte. Last I saw between 4-6" but I have a feeling that may change. I'm actually not too far away from Soulchill :)

Try buddy wrapping them. A friends stubbed her big toe pretty bad and buddy wrapping it to the next toe seemed to help.

Thanks I'll give that a try when I get up and walk. Icing and elevating most of today. Seems to be helping. Feel bad, hubby was off work today and we were going to go out for lunch or dinner, missed a date opportunity. Darn wall just jumped right out at me.:giggle: At least my tv is working again.

Did you put ice on you toes? Man I hate banging my toes . Can you move them?? How many dirty words did you say??? I always say a few myself. My dog does not mind.
 
Thinking that I haven't had a 5 day workday since before Christmas. Crazy winter! lol

Thanks for asking and yes sitting with an ice pack and my foot elevated. It hurts to move them and to walk, so I am taking it easy. Marley doesn't mind since she gets to cuddle all day.
Oh I'm sure some dirty words came out of my mouth, but mostly I was trying not to cry and wake up hubby.
So I am back sleeping downstairs, luckily the new pull out chair is very comfortable.
 
Some hearing people can't spell right. Some quoted about being Sick and Tired in context of sick of your present job to go into owning your business . They said , sick and tire . Not the first mistake seen it so many times. The person is hearing go figure!

To me north of Charlotte is Statesville lol I'm near Hickory ... I haven't measured it myself but someone that lives 5 minutes from me post on Facebook it was 4" 2 hours ago and someone else said it was suppose to be coming down at the rate of 3" an hour ... I've been using a leaf blower to get it off the carport every couple hours where it blows in

Are you getting any ice? I saw the pics of the ice on the trees in the Carolinas...whoa!

No ice at all here .. just a lot of snow ... I think the ice is east of me

Yes, and I can't do anything-- there's a power line nearby, and if I tried knocking that off, I could well end up bringing down the entire tree, and as you can see, it's not a big one.

Don't park your car under it. People cars have got damage from huge icicles falling on them. We're getting a snow sandwich out here , it's going to snow then turn to ice then back to snow! YUCKY!


I been putting a long leash on my dog when it's too hard to get out . I will go out on the deck and let Marty go on the ground , but the coyote came back and a rabbit has moved to a bush in front of my building after losing it home in the field that was behind my condo. Now the coyote think Marty is after it food as Marty been sniffing at the rabbit's new home. It's sad that wildlife is losing their home at an alarming rate.

The tree actually belongs to a neighbor, but that ice is pointy, and if we get a strong wind, they're capable of doing more than just damaging a car window-- like going through your body if the wind is strong enough. That's part of what worries me.

LOL I am between Statesville and Charlotte- Statesville is about 30 miles north of me. Don't know how much we have here but heard on the news earlier that all we will get is snow- the ice is hitting Charlotte though.
