same for my husband and has not put his cell phone but old paper calendar.

Right - there are so many things we have to keep track of and that's why I use a big wall calendar. We each have a different pen color. Will have more things to keep track of soon as even though the loan closing date was changed, we still start construction this month. I will be keeping track of EVERYTHING regarding the construction in it's own color. My calendars are both notes for appointments and such, but also like journals.
 
Thinking on this, maybe I will just print new pages for my DayTimer that I carry in my rollator. It's easy to open up on my desk and then put back into the rollator when I leave the house.

we got school calendar. but we should buy a big calendar with colorful markers. I still want to use both cell phone and paper calendar. back up is a must for me. lol

We have a wall calendar here with LOTS of writing space. It needs to be accessible for the whole family - like a master list.
 
I use calendar on my blackberry all the time. I also have a small planner that I use at work to keep track of when Payday is, and any appointments/happenings on it. At home, I use another planner to keep track of my bills. oh joy
 
Thinking that my sister - graduates from elementary school tomorrow. (it was only 12 years ago when I graduated elementary school and the same year, that my sister was born). My mother has been attending the school for 19 years in behalf of our siblings and myself (1993 - 2011). Tomorrow is the last day of the 'Clarke' family for the elementary school.

Wow! It is a momentous occasion for more than one reason! It is the end of an era.
 
This is it. Route is set, I'm heading to Atlanta, and then through to Dallas... And then Phoenix... And LA up to Sacramento. Four days of driving. Need to book motels along the way though.

Bought sodas and snacks for my drive buddies. We agreed that we'll each drive five hours a day, therefore making it a 15 hour drive/day.

Think I'll open a thread of my own, documenting the journey back home.

And my best friends offered to help clean my parents house because they know how dirty it is and that it drives me crazy. It literally drove me away all these years. They're going to clean it with me. It's a beautiful house, but my parents doesn't take care of it... My home is in my signature.

I really don't know how I can ever repay my best friends. I pretty much owe them my life. I also stick my neck out for them when needed.

Curriculm specialist in either Math or Language Arts for the new curriculm that we are adopting for the next school year. If I get it, no more teaching children but teaching the teachers how to use the new curriculm. Sounds like a lot of pressure so I will ask more questions at the interview if I get the opportunity.
 
Thinking why did my cold return or caught a new strain of the cold. So many people are really sick at work with all kinds of viruses...ear infections, sinus infections, stomach bug, flu and all that. In the past few weeks, we all have been hit really hard.

Sounds like a wonderful trip! You are certainly planning for a lot of driving each day, though, especially during winter when it gets dark early. No time at all for a bit of sight-seeing along the way?

I applaud the idea about opening up a specific thread for this! Would love to see your pics and hear about travel details.

It's because you work with those"germ carrying" children!!! Hope you feel better soon. It's awful to get sick this time of year. Hope you do well with your interview.:angel:
