We got our house number today and it's really cracking hubby and I up. Seems the lady across the street was the first in the neighborhood and has a 3 digit house number in the 600 series, MIL's house follows hers by one digit and the lady next to MIL is a 4 digit number in the 5000 series. We originally thought we would be 2 digits off from MIL's address, but they want to get the house numbers cleared up and corrected. We will have a new 4 digit house number in the 5000 series and when MIL passes away and we get her house, we will then change that lot to the new corrected address. It avoids her having to change her address on everything and she's had this address since 1963 or there-about.

it's good idea to give them a call (on non-emergency line) and let them know just to make sure.

We have done so previously and they have marked their amps and such. It seems we are not the only neighborhood in this area like this.

Thinking I may take 1/2 day vacation today. Go home & take a nap (and hope we don't have a power outage due to the heat). Have been out late every night this week for rehearsals and have a rehearsal tonight. Can't sleep in tomorrow because I'm taking my daughter to visit our local university and have to be there by 9:00.
 
Thinking how bad I feel for my hubby who is building our deck in this extreme heat. He had planned taking Wed, Thurs and Fri off to build it so just bad bad bad timing that the heat wave hit on those days.

Your husband has wrong time during this week. I hope humid will be less this weekend. He may work with deck early morning.

He will be working at his 2nd job all weekend. oh well
 
I'm thinking about my lentil soup; it will be ready in an hour. *lick*
 
Am thinking about Party favors and making a list for anything I've forgotton for this Sunday...Having it late in the evening, (5pm)...it will be cooler outside and hoping for some breeze off the River...we've already caught shrimp and are going for more this evening, along with some crabs since we heard they were running very well....
 
I think so slow figure out see probably I wish :D
 
Thinking how I want to go home but my hubby instist on running errands for the deck project. It is tooooo hot!

Thank goodness farm stores open very early, before 7am here. We do our landscaping form 6am-noon. thats it! Its bruising hot out now, but we're in the AC :cool2:

Then we work evenings :)
