What are you thinking about? Part IV

that's why I no longer want any pet that sheds like that. My next dog will be... Sapsari

I am now shopping for a SUPER vacuum. One that I can just press "GO" and it vacuums everything worthless in sight.

Of course, my cats are not worthless. Not yet anyway. So far they are earning their keep by eating spiders. The day they stop doing that, then ... well ... (just kidding!!)

Shop Vac. Dyson is overrated.

I have a shop vac. It's not all that hot for carpet ...

Just buy a robot vaccum and you'll be good. The robot will do the job for you, while you chill and do other things.

Yea...that would be a great investment for AlleyCat.

carpet? oh I was thinking of cleaning fur off furnitures and clothes. When it comes to vacuuming carpet, Shop Vac doesn't come into mind.

What happened? Is this something that's happened before? My mom did this all the time for a couple of years, then quit. We had to hunt her down every time, and she got mad every time. Um ... sorry, you have daughters who care?

Sorry -- don't mean to go off on a tangent here. Can we help?

She has threatened for many years and now that my other sister just graduated from HS, she has determined that all the kids are old enough to take care of themselves without her. My youngest is 15 and I don't think she's ready yet.

Of course, it was my brother who set her off, got her packing her bags. My brother tried to apologize, but she wouldn't hear of it. My dad is now out hunting her down.

I am sorry. Wow...hope your sister will be alright.

I hope so, too! She texted me earlier crying. :(

Ahh, it's okay. I'm very concerned for my youngest sister who is only 15 and she still needs a mother. My dad can't raise her on his own at all and I dread that if my mom actually leaves the family, (she already left, but not sure if it's permanent) my dad will ask me to move back to CA and assist in raising my sister.

well I don't know what's your situation is with your family but you're dreading about taking care of your sister? where's some love?

I stayed home for the past few years to help my family out due to bad economy and financial difficulty. Half of my salary went to helping out and the only space of my own was this little desk. And now... my brother's got a job and my dad's business is picking up. I just finally got an apt - all for myself and now I can live my own life. I sacrificed for family's sake and I feel better knowing that we're gonna be ok.

Your sister's only 15 years old now and I think you shouldn't be dreading about taking care of her. Guide her. Teach her. Protect her.

Maybe she doesnt live nearby?

Yep. It'd be a HUGE move for me... Dropping everything here in New York where I was trying to make a start for myself only to go back to California.

How much fur I have in my house with 5 cats. I can't seem to vacuum fast enough before they leave more.

We have the 2 cats and 3 people who all shed quite a bit. I totally know what you mean. And yes, mother, daughter and myself lose more hair daily than anyone else I know. For mother it's not good as she has very thin hair to begin with, but daughter and I have super thick hair and losing it doesn't seem to thin it out any.

In my case, my mom (within the last couple of years) would get mad at my dad for some reason or another, and leave. She would go walking down highways. It's SO NOT SAFE !! Then my sister or I would have to leave work looking for her. Or Dad. And whoever found her first, she would get mad at. I had a serious talk with her a few months back about how unsafe this behavior was, and if she felt she had to leave, PLEASE go do it on the back roads, and not on the highway. She's since stopped doing that.

Anyways...thinking how happy that my hubby and I finally agreed on the paint colors for the living room, the first floor bathroom, and the 2nd floor bathroom. The kitchen color was hard for us to decide right now so we will leave it in the ugly green for now until we renovate it next summer. I HATE olive green!
