I did tell her - her response was to change my plans as my duty is to her. That's why hubby is seriously looking for work in a different area. The offer that he had for Texas fell through and now he has a chance at South Carolina. We will see. He's even been offered his job back in Missouri, but I will never go back to Missouri.

There are senio citizen buses that she could use. Have to apply at the JTA office, if she can't drive, has mobility problems, etc. Jeez, Kristina...ur not her servant! I'm sure there are many things she can do on her own. How old is she anyway?

She is 74. Has no peripheral vision and is a pain. She will not use the senior buses since they make her wait and the cost is too high. She is no longer allowed to do any housework, drive, yard work, or much. The doctor doesn't like her cooking, but she won't let me cook for her. Her knee replacements need to be replaced again. She has ruptured discs in her back. She has blood pressure problems, heart problems and an inoperable brain tumor. Due to her mixing meds a few years back, she also experiences "black-out" periods here and there. The doctor is aware and says they can't do anything about it, she jeopardized her system with mixing allergy medicine, sinus medicine and other stuff.
 
Son called a little while ago. The fish are not biting. They have tried about 15-20 different spot around Lake Okeechobee and all they got was 1 little speckled perch that might have weight 1/2 pound and tossed it back. They are on their way their way home. It will be a hour's drive.
 
Thinking that I cant believe I worked 26 hours this weekend alone and so glad to be done with it. My paycheck in 2 weeks should be very healthy and I can finally put it towards to my bills not to my lawyer anymore as I PAID my lawyer fees off!!!!!
 
I am thinking about how for the first time a post of mine was removed cause of name calling.......and I didn't do the name calling. I was actually sicking of for the person. :giggle:

I know..one 1lb of weight off my shoulders..now, if I could get the other 9 lbs off...maybe someday. I am so ambitous that I will make it happen unlike many people I know who get themselves soooo stuck in dead end situations. No offenise, but that is NOT going to be my life and I dont give a f***ck that I am deaf or not..I am NOT going to live off on SSDI nor work at $10 dollar horu jobs for the rest of my life. That has always been who I am since I was young....I am never sastified.

But you have a duty to your daughter first, don't you? Your own flesh and blood.

I do have a duty to her, yes, but I can reschedule for the next day. I try to be careful in choosing my battles. With MIL, I will never win any. She provides the roof over our head right now as we can not afford to.

Yeah, I can understand to a degree. It is a challenging situation. I wish I had a better suggestion for you.
 
I really don't want to get up and put the dishes in the dish washer, but I really don't like going to bed with a dirty kitchen... grrrrrrr

I understand that...well you know. LOL My eldest sister keeps telling me that I should try VR again ( I was disqualified YEARS ago, no the basis I was able to keep my job longer than 6months). But if she knew I was currently trying to get food stamps she FLIP! This is the sister that was on welfare for years and didn't get off her ass to do something about it until she was forced into VR herself so she could keep her welfare. She got her LPN cert then didn't renew it cause she got emotionally attached to a a young man that was a client of hers that died.
