My buddy asked me that when I started loosing my hearing, in CO you are allowed to drive. You do not need to hear to drive, just pay attention

Thats what makes sense to me but I saw in another thread something about a case going to the supreme court to give the deaf a drivers license

all deafies are allowed to drive. hearing is not needed. just good eyesight and common sense.

all they gotta do is pass 2 tests - written and road.

Sorry I am not sure about surrounding areas, I can't think of any reason Deaf wouldnt be able to drive legally unless like hearing they did something to loose their license.

yea... like DUI, multiple moving violations, etc.

Hearing nor the lack of it is not a basis for safe driving. No State bars deaf folks from obtaining a driver's license. Some countries in Europe do not allow deaf folks to get said license....sheer ignorance.
 
Not sure what that thread here was talking about then, but it said case going to the supreme court to allow deaf to obtain drivers license
