What are you thinking about? Part III

I was just wondering...Why can't a woman propose to a man? I mean, why does HE specifically has to be the one to "pop the question" ? If they are happily dating steady, have actually daydreamed about their future together, why can't she offer him a wedding band and ask " Will you marry me? "

Thinking how much of a brat my uncle is for not letting me know that he is in Philly signing autographs. He never tells me when he is on this side of the country.

He said he is with Pete Rose so I told him to pls get an autograph from him for my husband as he is a Phillies fan. That would be a great bday gift.

My uncle has his own plane and flies to the East coast but always forgets to tell me when he is here so we can visit. Oh well.

My hubby thinks that he doesnt like us. I told him that he is very self-centered from being celebrity in the East coast for too long. Hope he comes through with asking Pete Rose to sign an autograph for my hubby. If not, wont be the first nor the last time he has let us down. He was there when they imploded the old Phillies stadium..he could have gotten us tickets as he was a former player but he didnt even think about it. We used to be so close...sucks.

Yea, why not?!

Maybe I should propose to my hubby for the renewal of our vows? Good idea. :hmm:

:giggle: It's just that usually guys are the ones known for not wanting to commit ( sorry guys, the truth is the truth...) and I just have this image of the guy looking like a deer caught in headlights at such a question. A woman knows when she's ready but she always holds back cause if she mentions it she might scare the guy away hence the " waiting for the question " lol

I ask this cause even though I don't see myself getting married, if I do find someone I want to spend the rest of my life with, I want to ask him instead of biting my nails and pulling my hair waiting for him to ask. The outcome is going to be the same, either we marry or we don't and either we end up deliriously happy or one with a heavily broken heart.

The vows renewal sounds awesome! I loved it when my grandparents did it. It just showed how much love there was between them that they readily committed to each other, again, in front of everyone <3 <3

Scary thing about asking someone to marry you is that if they say no makes you question about the relationship? If you don't ask, your relationship longer.

I'm thinking about my sister. She's going to court tomorrow to finalise custody arrangement. I hope her scumbag husband will not have much custody access. Please pray for her that the judge will rule in her favor. :(

I'm thinking about how cold it is outside that I just went outside to taste it....brrrrrr!!! It's 5 degrees outside right now with wind chills between -5 to 0 degrees.

But if they say no, at least no more time will be wasted on the relationship.

That's what I mean. What if a person is just not ready for marriage.but doesn't want the relationship to end over" no".

Wait til the timing is right, that's all. I've seen a few people haven't got married until about 10-15 years later. One of my friend finally got married after 21 years of knowing each other. Did you know that you are "married" after 7 years together?

That's a risk some people have to take. There are always risks when it comes to love.

They can always explain why they turned down the proposal and maintain the relationship. Or it will just fall apart.

We here in South Florida, actually all of Florida are under Wind Chill advisories until Tuesday. Monday night we are supposed to have temps below freezing. Yuck!

That's so weird! One of my friends who lives in Florida just posted on FB asking for suggestions on what kind of fashionable close toes shoes should she get. Oh boy...

Lol, that turns Florida into a Tundra for now. It's 8 degrees here right now and sunny with light wind.
