Wasn't thinking of you going to MD to do it. Just agreeing with you about how good it looks.

I am wondering if Shel or her husband is going to hang the shutters or if it is going to be a teamwork thing with both of them.

My guess is that they are already hung. She did say the porch was finished.

Two windows (4 shutters) are on the first floor level and the other is on the 2nd floor. We got them down easily yesterday to paint them and will be easy to put them up. We have a tall ladder.

We haven't hung them back up yet because we need to power wash the house first. Was going to do it today but we have to leave for our son's baseball game soon so maybe when we get back or the following week.

Packing even though I don't leave for a week. Want to make sure I have everything, except daily needs stuff, and that it all fits. Then I'll have a week to 2nd guess myself :o
Helps that I can wash my train clothes at my daughter's the first night then I can wear them again on the trains home.

This is going to be a long week.

Now at the Metra, waiting for an rush-hour train at 8:45. Should get to Ogilvie by 9:15. Then walk to the Orange Line for Clark/Lake.
 
Took a vacation day from work so hunny and I are at home.
 
Waiting for the #20 Madison bus back to Ogilvie. And It's frigging windy here (Lake Michigan is nearby)

Edit: Another bus, the #124, is coming. I can hop on that one instead.

Just got back from the food store. Wanted to get a few things before the storm gets here.
 
Have returned from Whole Foods, where we bought potato leek soup, pretzel rolls, and two cheeses, cranberry chipotle cheddar, and Rum Runner.

No idea what they taste like but looking forward to dinner, and Bones on tv tonight.

Getting caught up on TV shows from earlier this week, which is relaxing.
