I watch Grey's Anatomy too. It just got renewed for at least two more years which will make it twelve years on the air.
 
Helping my son to sync and add music to his new refurbished iPod Touch. It's an older generation one and so it took a while to figure it out. Got help from Banjo.
 
I'm gonna go outside and stretch my legs. Need to get out some more. :|
 
Watching hail come down. Our TV keeps cutting in and out with this storm.
 
Thinking about the fact that a thread from this morning disappeared :hm:

And I just finished dying my daughters hair and I'm about to make meat slop. Orrr maybe I'll wait til tomorrow to do that. Not sure yet

I think that was because I explained what happens to the schizophrenic brain over the course of a lifetime, and its inevitability.

People tend to get emotional and don't like cold, scientific fact.

I just got home from visiting my mom and goddaughter. I took my goddaughter for a walk and taught her how to jump over the cracks in the sidewalk. She was laughing and then when the wind would blow she would say Ohhhhhh...which just melts my heart. Now my knee and back hurt......but what a good reason to be in pain.

The reference was to tissue loss in the brains of schizophrenic people over the course of a lifetime.

There are quite a few interesting studies that are readily available online.

Here is a visual example, comparing the brain of twins, one with schizophrenia, one without.
It is pretty dramatic.

There is different types of schizophrenia. Nit all are delusional or hallucinate. But yea most that are delusional thi k they Are jesus or something like the devil and ither famous figures there is a lot who think they are hitler

what I know is that hallucination is very real and the only cure is to make a person aware of his hallucination but.... yea you know. it's like a person trying to convince you that your friend whom you've been hanging out with for years is not real.

Not necessarily thinking they're someone famous, but delusions of grandeur yes. A lot of them end up homeless, hiding, because they think they're inmportant in some way and that "the man" whatever is trying to find them.
