Weather Underground in my sidekick 3 alerted me its advisory. Temperature is now 41 F and 36 F wind chill. My feet and hands are starting to feel frigging cold. I read the statement in my SK3 below. Chance of snow will expect possibly only in mountain!

Statement as of 4:26 PM MDT on September 08, 2007

... Cooler temperatures and light rain will spread over southeast
Wyoming Sunday night and Monday morning...

A weather system will move into the northern rockies on Sunday and
then shift slowly across Wyoming and Colorado Sunday night and
Monday. Rain showers will increase in coverage over southeast
Wyoming late Sunday afternoon... with a more widespread light rain
developing Sunday evening. Light rain will continue Sunday night
and Monday morning... then taper off Monday afternoon.

Temperatures will fall into the 30s and lower 40s Sunday night. The
snow line will lower to 6500 to 7000 feet after midnight. Rain will
become mixed with or change to wet snow... especially above the
7000 foot level where 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation is
possible by Monday morning.

Hunters... ranchers... travelers and others with outdoor interests
should be prepared for a change to cool and wet conditions Sunday
night. Roads at higher elevations including the I-80 Summit west
of Cheyenne may become slushy early Monday morning.

wow!! already?? It isnt even winter!! Brrrrr

I better prepare for cold coming. few things i have to seal and fix my trailer. internet and cable tv crew ruined part of my skirting. water valve outside will be replaced. my sister's boyfriend will help me to fix before winter and windy come.

I-80 summit is a beautiful place to view Rocky mountain remote scenery

Glad someone is helping you to get things ready before winter season. It isn't easy. phew!

Well, its barely September and i noticed the trees have
some yellow and reds in the mountains already! yikes!
guess Fall is officially here early....is it possible?
Im not ready for the cold weather....
we got get ready around here before cold weather,
we have things to do, prepare the house for the cold
weather, go buy at least 100 to 125 bags of pellets
for the pellet stove, cover up the attic fans, put insulation
around the front of the house as it was not done when we
bought the house, geez., etc, etc. cant think of other things
we need to do right now...:eek3: lol!

hehe snow already in CO and WY. MAn I gotta move my butt up there sometime, these hot summers are ridiculous. Of course up there it rarely gets above 85. I have been up there in July and its only 55 degrees and raining, reminds me of our winter, lol. Kind of puny in comparison - well that is until it comes to ridiculous ice storms.

These pictures what should look like what wyoming stands for!

These pictures were taken last winter.

NOOOOOOO! I am not READY for winter! UGGGGGGGGGGH! I wanna warm warm warm all year around! :giggle: The leaves are changing colors now....so time for me to take a drive and take pictures. :thumb:

Yeup, Colorado is getting cold, Monday temp will be 50s. brrr gotta find my nipple warmers:giggle:

I can't wait to see SNOW. Of course, I am lookin' forward to it. :D

I am hopin' that it don't turn out the worse than last year... but IF, it does -then, be sure you have everythin' stock up to prepare yourself and your family when the " worse " comes. Be sure you have plenty of hot chocolate, hot tea bags, and hot coffee to keep urself warm! ;)

Ha, you would have to be in the Northwest (including alaska) to see snow....the high mountains in the cascades. They still got snow on them all year long. :)

That's Mt. Rainier snow in July. It's in south central Washington state about 90 miles southeast of Seattle. :giggle: (it's not my picture)
