Weather Underground in my sidekick 3 alerted me its advisory. Temperature is now 41 F and 36 F wind chill. My feet and hands are starting to feel frigging cold. I read the statement in my SK3 below. Chance of snow will expect possibly only in mountain!
Statement as of 4:26 PM MDT on September 08, 2007
... Cooler temperatures and light rain will spread over southeast
Wyoming Sunday night and Monday morning...
A weather system will move into the northern rockies on Sunday and
then shift slowly across Wyoming and Colorado Sunday night and
Monday. Rain showers will increase in coverage over southeast
Wyoming late Sunday afternoon... with a more widespread light rain
developing Sunday evening. Light rain will continue Sunday night
and Monday morning... then taper off Monday afternoon.
Temperatures will fall into the 30s and lower 40s Sunday night. The
snow line will lower to 6500 to 7000 feet after midnight. Rain will
become mixed with or change to wet snow... especially above the
7000 foot level where 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation is
possible by Monday morning.
Hunters... ranchers... travelers and others with outdoor interests
should be prepared for a change to cool and wet conditions Sunday
night. Roads at higher elevations including the I-80 Summit west
of Cheyenne may become slushy early Monday morning.
