Banning tasers isn't going to solve the problem completely. They still have a right to protect themselves, but they also should be better educated on handicaps and disabilities.
It should also be a 2-way street with everything. If a person is diabetic or has a health issue, he/she should be wearing a necklace or bracelet that identifies that health issue. If a person is deaf or wears glasses, it should be mentioned on their identification/license. We can't expect cops to know EVERYTHING just by looking at another person. I could look at a person standing still and not doing anything... and I wouldn't know if that person was hearing or deaf or was diabetic or something. I had a roommate who was diabetic, he wears a bracelet that is easily identifiable. My license says that I wear hearing aids. We both are doing our part to identify ourselves to others who are unlike us.
