Thanks, Fly! But, I'm afraid I'm another one who is reticent about taking a position. I think I would work well with people, but I'm afraid I know dinky-doo about the technologies for the deaf. I know *OF* Blackberry, Sidekick and the like. I also have a very elementary working knowledge of how they are used, but I'm afraid it's limited to that. I also know what a TTY is too, but confront me with one, and I'd be clueless on how to use it. :lol: Doesn't mean I'm opposed to learning, though. ;)

If you're looking for a mod that needs to have the technical know-how related to wireless devices, services, and needs for everyone, hearing or deaf, I guess I could step up to the plate.

I'm in the wireless field myself and I face wireless discussions, news, and facts daily. There is a lot more to it than just, "Which is better, SK2 or (other device)" The next few years are going to be an exciting time, indeed.

Aw thanks for thinking of me really but I'm not as good as the others would be...

And honestly I don't know nothing about wireless devices, services or etc...I don't think I would be the best one to do the job either....I'm sorry but it was really nice that you think of me FlyFree and thanks :hug:

What about Deaf258? he seem to be the smart one when it comes to something like this and I believe he would do a great job at moderatoring the new site....Ummm so Deaf258? what do you think buddy? heh
 
i ain't gonna to be moderator cause i know nothing about wireless devices, services or etc... and other programs this site got! make me look like LOSER , it true! lol lol .. wink!!!

I just want to write this to show the rest of AD members that I am still interested in being a moderator. All I can do is wait for more members to nominate me. Also waiting for Alex to see what his decision on those nominations.
 
i also want to remind everyone that im still interested to be a mod... i would suggest a poll or something? once alex get list of who wants to be one?

Also once it narrows down then Alex can decide for final mod?
 
i can't judge on ppl who the best for will be *moderator* .. cause if i do that, it will hurt other ppl's feeling !! i am not judge any of you , but but most of you guys are doin good at this site! wink!

SpiceHd, if you are talking of being desirous of the specific moderator position that Alex is talking about, you need to write to him, telling him of your qualifications for moderating and imparting knowledge in all aspects of of the various hand-held communication devices on the market, etc. This isn't a popularity contest.
 
oh okay :-P thanks tousi... and i agree with you its not popularity contest... i never consider of this that way :-P I have a reason for wanting to be a mod. I will pm Alex :-D
 
First of all, Thank for voting me.. I would love def to be a mod, cuz I know the computers myself.. I had nagging with alot of my friend who they need a help with computer, I would love to do for them to make them be happy with thier computers..

For the wireless computers like pagers.. I had a few expereinces with different of pagers myself... I don't know that much about pagers myself but i willing to learn more about the pagers..

to become a mod, It's responsitily thing to do watch what people had been doing with their knowleadge, and im not here to see any negitives.. I already know about pros and cons with the brand of computers, It's just a computers to computers i don't see what the difference but again, i would love to be mods.. but it's all up to Alex whatever he feel comfortable with it..

My opinion:

Up to Alex because he´s the boss of the AD forum.

It´s him who choose us to become moderator, not us.
 
Is there a timeframe that we should be looking at for this new site/forum?
