Hello,

I'm looking for a few moderators for my new and upcoming forum. Basically the new forum will be about these cool, wireless gadgets with qwerty keyboards that we carry around to communicate with our friends and family members (e.g. Sidekick, Blackberry, Treo, etc.)

The ideal moderator would be one that:

1.) Enforces the forum rules and does not take sides
2.) Is willing to invest some of their time creating new and interesting threads/posts daily. No severe post-whoring and going off-topic often, though.
3.) Has a positive attitude towards the members and are willing to assist them if needed.

Please note that this is a voluntary position only. You will not get a penny for being a moderator. However, a moderator is eligible for a free web account (www.yourdomain.com) and every once in a while a "bonus" is given for their hard work and loyalty.

If you're interested in being a moderator, please sign in and tell us why you deserve the position of a moderator. Keep in mind that the new forum will NOT necessarily be about deafness such as AllDeaf, instead it will focus on wireless pagers and so forth. If you have links to posts you created pertaining to wireless pagers or anything related, please post them here for review.

Final decision and selection will be made by me. Any questions or comments, feel free to post here.

Edit: To make this clear for everyone: The new forum is not on AllDeaf.com, it's in a different new website. It's going to be only focus on all cellphone/pager devices.

I vote FlyFree..

I don't vote Flyfree because she's my gf no no no.. My option is that way i look at her,

She have a wiser, common sense, and she have the vibes which thread or post are wrong or right.. she know to deal with it.. She is very amazing with people.. she is more involded with people's options... Please take your time to see her past posts and threads and want have her as a good **woman** mods..

I'm curious, do you know much about sidekick, blackberry etc? cause that what Alex is seeking for as moderatoring this new forum he will be adding here....So if you do, he would want you to explain a bit about yourself and why you feel you would be the best one to pick....

Just helping you here because I'm not quite sure if you understood what Alex was trying to say above.. It's not like hes looking for another moderators like the ones he already have here such as Vampy, Roadrunner, LinxGold, E... ;)


hmm....I may be wrong, but I believe some members here must have misunderstood you there Alex.....

I always make lot of research on internet and always contact the company for news or updates. I can do that for you too. I love helping people with technology that they had no idea about. Some are illiterate understanding the new technology. Some people dont know how to run these things. Really it is up to you if you want to nominate me to be part of the new forums. Vote for me...

I wanna be mod in the sports section. I was an usher at the old memorial stadium before.I know how to make fans behave.
 
There will have new forum for gadgets..It would be coolest!

I think I know some name Lists of who know how to answer user's questions with professionals:

Steve

Dennis

Mark Rejhon

They have to know how to talk with others without bash nor knock off them.. They know how to netural between.. if not, look at their posts in Technologies and Products for the Deaf..

Plus you have lack of expirence with blackberry, sidekick or gadgets whatever.. because I never see you post in Technologies and Products for the Deaf.. You should not be moderator for New Forums.. I'll nominate Levonian because he is one of those people with the right attitude and he seem not to get influenced by anything negative. I think he would be a wise choice and a better person to be a moderator. Of course that is what I think ;)

And my second choice would be Mayflower with the same reason too.

My third choice would be Magatsu because, he is really smart and finds good sources, I think he also could be a good one too.

thank you angel...at least give me a chance if i can make this a really good website a better place to interact and making new friends.

You're very welcome RedWolf, but I believe it's Alex's call who he rather to see as a moderator in his new forum as he state above, but at least you know you have my vote...

Everyone deserves a chance, no matter what happened in the past ;)
