techinally they are same. i use webcam more than vp device to call anyone thur VRS or they call me thur VRS too.

I think that it is a good idea for you to use a text message pager. I heard that some deaf people are losing their interest to show them their face on VP once a while. That's something new to me. I do have the VP, but I do not feel like to see someone's face on VP, except emails are fine with me. Writing on email is a better way to improve our grammar. ;)

I am just wondering how they reach you if you are not on a webcam? Is there a light or strobe signal to let you know that they want to chat with you? If yes, what brand it is? Where can I find the signaler?
 
That's true! Mac is safe than pc. I agree with you the selfish isn't healthy. My husband need to trust me more. I wish I have FI0S but I can't take it because I live in apartment. It's suck!

I am surprised that he really forgot that he just married you! Marriage is all about being trusted. He needs to use his common sense. I hope that he would buy a recent Mac for you in a couple of months.

Yeah, My husband do have common sense. But he need to research about sorenson and network more. He is very busy at work. When He have time. He will check it out. He know it all about Ip address and network. Sometime he do disagree with tech support. He already have Macbook. We want to have a Mac mini tv. But We are saving our money right now. I have problem with medical bills. I am hope I can find a new job to pay it off. My husband will go back to school next month.
 
webexplorer-- I don't think it has anything to do with "trust" men prefer to think they know more than women would know.

That's true. I agree with you. My husband want me to trust him more. You know how men are. They always know it all with ego about computer stuff more than women does.

Yea they always do. :lol: When I tell my ex something, he would end up arguing with me about it, I said fine we do it your way, then something didn't go right he would get frustrated, then looked at me and said "don't say I told you so," I said "I'm not". Then when I left the room, I said to myself "I told him so" :whistle:

Actually, most women care Earth environment, and they did have some good inventions, but it is too expensive. You know most men have better salary than women in a general way.

My opinion is that most inventions are pretty much junk to me. Some great inventions are out there, but they are always expensive to buy.

Pamela Anderson couldnt invent a way out of a paperbag. Same as Marlee Matling stating she dont want CI because she have residual hearing HA . She is as deaf as deaf can be more or less a decibel or two..

Hey I emailed to Tech Support about my vp situation with black video. I am tired of call TS many times. I'll have trainer come over to my apt on Monday to fix my VP. Yayaya I can't wait! I am hope it's working then get hovrs mvp. :)

So I believe the Dlink modems is better off by these other brands, correct DHB?
 
Dlink modem available only for cable Internet, not DSL, Westell mainly for DSL.

It is not necessarily Dlink the best, there are several excellent modem and routers out there. Just need to understand the basic of set up, once understand the basic of set up, you could practically set any brands and make it work.
