Only way to beat ice is this set up in your tires.

All it is a set of washers, bolts, and nuts. I'm going to try this set up for next year winter season on my Jeep.

You got that right! I was waking in a parking lot with my dog and some idiot
was backing out their space ant the back window was covered with snow!
the idiot nearly ran over me and never stopped! I could not see that person was in the car and the driver never looked to see if it was safe to back up!

Studded tires are legal here. They're only legal from Nov 15th to April 15th, though.

I hate when drivers tailgate behind me or drivers tailgate with someone else in the rain, also hate when drivers cut in front of me in the rain as well.

I wonder that western US including Oregon and Washington don't have road salt. How do they protect icy roads? De-icer? Sand?

I talk about number one and you stated it was not icy there. Look at the picture, it is icy! Thats why studded tires are good for that. I wasn't talking about specific location.

When you try to correct me by saying I fail on number 2, you got rid of number 1. When I tried to said fail - i was talking about the ice not location. :roll:

You are not alone. Lot of us does "flip the bird" when other drivers pisses us off or being the one to see other drivers giving us that.

I would pick pretty much all of them.

I've had worse.

One night, I was driving and there was heavy traffic. I was just about to change lanes and quickly went back to my own lane cuz I almost hit the car approaching behind in the next lane. Turns out it was a woman driving her SUV with her headlights off while talking on her cell phone. :roll:

Yes, this was while it was very icy.

Silicon cat litter.

Serious. When Vancouver got hit with a blizzard in 2007, they used cat litter and sand because they couldn't get anything else.
 
Cat litter. Hee.

We are reducing the uses of salt here and mixing them with sand. Mainly because the salt is bad for cars and the environment.
