Have you forgotten how Democrats made hay of G.W. Bush's transcripts? They got lots of mileage out of them.
 
Also, Reba, of note - who he campaigned as and who he's been President as have been two entirely separate people. He was certainly (almost) left-wing enough for me during the election in '08, cause I was one of his many rabid supporters. So, if you go based off of his campaigning, I'd agree that he (looked) fairly liberal. Once in power... not so much.

I'd say that wasn't just Dems. There were some Repubs that weren't real crazy about his GPA, either.:lol:

I agree. It is wasted time. But again, you missed, obviously, my explanation of what I was laughing at. Or you chose to ignore it. One of the two.

He's more the kind of moderate that nobody wants. Conservatives, while in the minority, wanted purity, so they rejected any attempts to compromise. Liberals, seeing this, felt betrayed when he still tried (and failed) to achieve any meaningful compromises and merely watered down his own proposed legislation.
