You got it, sorry Chasie, don't kill this Angel here :aw: LOL. it's your turnie Secretblendie.

No problem. Secretblendie's answer is more responsive to the clues, and that keeps the game fair. I remember a young Michelle Pfeiffer performing the song. Ha ha ha, she definitely was a "cool rider."

Okay, this is a long shot:

Memorex makes an aerosol keyboard cleaner that contains a bittergent to keep kids from inhaling the stuff from the can.

Is this close?

1. Deepest canyon in northern hemisphere

Mod Note:

I'm going to make an exception here--one that everyone can agree on as well as to continue to enjoy this game.

Generally, with this game, three clues are presented for others to guess and figure out precisely what these clues represent. The fact that sometimes, these 3 clues isn't enough to go on...therefore, allowing 'only' 3 more clues to work with is reasonable. If the next 3 clues also gives others a hard time coming up with the correct answer, then, here's the exception: Allowing these 6 clues be available for guessing up to 24hrs. after the last 3 clues were given. This way, it'll help with maintaining interest in this game and keeping it active--.

Also, when one member here (Whitewolves) prolonged the game even when others couldn't guess what the clues he given represented, it's not his fault for his choices with the clues he had given, nor is it his fault for no one not being able to guess correctly. Simply put, there wasn't really any 'fine line' whereas how this game could maintain interest and enjoyable for anyone who wishes to participate in this game. Bearing that in mind, please, let's not be too hard on this member when no other specific guideline was put in place for this game. Ok? Soooo...let's continue with this game and have fun--enjoy!!

New additional 'rules':

--Up to 6 clues can be given (first, starting with 3 clues as outlined in the first post of this thread)

--After the 6th clue has been given, members have up to 24hrs. from the time the 6th clue was given to correctly guess these clues

--Once the time of 24hrs. has passed, anyone can start with a new set of 3 clues (clues that have been expired, member who presented the clues can post the answer for those clues)

Is everyone ok with these additional 'rules'?

The sole purpose of doing this is to continue to create an environment whereas it's enjoyable and members find this game interesting and fun to play-- :)

Peace out--
~RR

You've obviously got a complaint and are trying to solve a problem as you see it. That's a moderator's unenviable duty.

However, I don't believe additional clues nor time has ever been a problem. In my estimation, problems come up when clues are ambiguous. For instance, blue, big, round. It could be the earth from space, the sky, an ocean, or a beach ball.

When we do that and an answer fits, most usually say, "Okay, close enough" and the game goes on. But when he or she doesn't, it becomes an impossible "read my mind" thing and the game is no longer passing along information for fun.

I'm okay with any rules anyone comes up with, but I don't believe the problem you're having to deal with was the real problem.

Just one long-time player's opinion.

That is fine...afterall, I had made a suggestion, but if members don't want to do it that way, then that's fine too. If members want to continue to play in the manner that you all have been doing so--and 'ok' with that, then all's great! ;)

Therefore, it's best to not to repeatedly indicate: "read my mind" ; "keep guessing", etc., giving (more) clues can be quite helpful as well as informative. This will keep the game from losing interest and one whereas members will seek the 'thousands of possibilities' with new clues.

Nice try, Byrdie. I'm sure the Grand Canyon of the Colorado is the biggest and certainly most famous. The deeper canyon is farther north.

Actually either answer is acceptable. I just didn't check back quickly enough. Sorry.

The answer is Hells Canyon of the Snake River.

Off topic: I've been a player since the first day J'explique introduced this game, and we began by working out rules. I think Roadrunner's suggestion is a good addition: after six clues and/or 24 hours, then someone else can start up again. What do others think? That way if someone falls asleep at the switch like happened with the random question game, we can still go on.

Back on topic, your turnie, Byrdie.

1. A city in Iowa.

2. Comes in many colors, shapes and styles.

3. I like to nap on it occasionally.
