The past

hmmm i always wondered the same thing also like what was it like when my mom was pregnant with me..when she only had two sons..did she want a girl?or what was family life like then... did things completely change wen i came around
hmmm great question!

Wow, never thought that this thread will be full of comments from everyone.
yeah, always wondered about it and the lifestyle similiar to the movie - back to the future. What about the old movies?

I have some old family photos of my grandmother when she was very young 1920s and I have one of my dad when he was about 5 years old 1930s and I always wonder what it was like back in those days.

Yeah I wondered sometimes! :D

I sometimes wander what it look like if I am in the Middle Age period, 1800's to 1900's of period time, and in the B.C. period. Sure, the time is fast, changeable, and... of course, it would never able to turn back.

My opinion, I like the past better than today.

I am sorta glad I don't live in the past for slavery time because I would have been killed because I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut. Plus I am female and we had no rights until 100 years? or so. Then the whole taking the land from indians thing, too. And the witches, too. I may be christian now but I wasn't for most of my life.

Sometimes, we fancy a time machine :laugh2:

Jacob, you can rent "Back to the Future" Delorean car.

I have often wondered what was it like in the 1950s or so when my town used to be a good one to hang out, or so.. would have been nice to see what style was in back then and etc...

That is why I used to love looking at old photos with my grandmother she would tell me about their lives during the great depression. And how they worked and struggle.

She would tell me about all 8 of her kids and them growing up

My favorite picture is of my mother when she was two years old.

My Grandma is now with God

Ask the elderlies and learn the history. It takes you back in time.

I love old photos and I also collect copies from my family we actually got a lot of them by contacting our family VIA through Geneology website.

yup of course. I surely would love to live in 1900's.

My wife and i like 1950's that life was so SIMPLE right after World War II for many many Americans have plenty jobs with best quality control inspection for their products than overseas which is nowadays (UGH) that always falling apart, junk or defectives (bad products). And American Icon is starting to disappearing due to Oversea (China, Twain, Japan, Thailand and other countries in Asia) that always takeover our products which is too bad! Back in 50's that does not have much crimes and swearing languages like that and mostly are CLEAN Straightforward of their lives that we wished for ~ LOL! :naughty: :giggle:

Boys, stick to the topic please. This is my thread, thank you.

I have always been fascinated with the early 1900s up to the 1920s, especially during the "Roaring 20s" where life was nothing but a party.

Oh yeah, I have read a bit about that part -- and the early '30's when they built the empire building.
