I wasn't sure how to say this way, but I will try my best to do so.

Have you ever, look at these OLD photos before you were born and wondered what the life was like there? Such as for example, I have looked at some other people's old photos before I was born in late 80's and always wondered what the lives was like in USA, England and my country - Australia. It would have been weird looking at these lives before you were born.

Have you?

I have lots of old photos in my storage. no digital photo but I can scan some photos into my computer if I have time.

Sure. And I like it when I have dreams about places and life even though I have never lived during the era that I see/feel in my dreams.

LOL, I was born in the early 80s. I look back at some of my parents old photographs from the 60s and 70s. My grandma drove cars that are now classic cars. I wonder what it was like back in the leather jacket, poodle skirt days. ( I know that is earlier than the 60s and 70s.)

I wonder about this too. I think of how it must have been for people in the middle ages and in prehistoric times, trying to be in their sandals or whatnot. The period of 1700-1900s holds a certain fascination for me too.

I was born in 1951, and yes, I had a poodle skirt. :P

My grandparents lived to be 95 so when There is this one photo of my grandma when she was under 10 and she was sitting on a horse buggy rusty thing in her yard. I wonder about that. I look at her school photos which was all girl and I wonder. They grew up in kansas, 1st generation. They were poor.

How differently did people think? What influenced their choices? Did they think, "This could be better!" ~ or did they just think things couldn't change or get better?

Those who crossed the Land Bridge (Pangea) ~ did they know where they were going to? Did they have an extensive knowledge of geography and navigation?

I think about this frequently. And I wish there were a way that I could actually experience these earlier times of history.

Those who don't learn from the past are bound to repeat it. :)

Sometimes, I wonder what it is like to feel to stomp in wheat muds with bare feet to build somethin' under Egypt rules. I wonder about those people who were slaves, too. I would imagine it that their life were very unpleasant and hardship experiences, comparin' to ours today. I wonder what it is like to feel stronger and more healthier in their times than today. Abundant/healthy fruits - large size of fruits than today without usin' pesticide/herbicide.

There were many things I've been wonderin' ... :)

Yes I do, lots of 'em...

In our ol' days, we got awesome clothes and all...we all wear headbands (even twirls headbands), leg warmers, many hot colors!!! Lots of make up!!! Lots of Hairsprays...Even jeans with no bell bottoms!!! :giggle:

I do miss those days!!!

I do have pictures and will scan some...our lifestyles are pretty diff than today's...I have my dad's 21st birthday photo. He wore jeans with white shirt...in the 50's, real handsome daddy!!!

I only use it as a reference when certain clothes come back. I tried bell bottoms, but it didn't suit well with me! :giggle: I'm comfortable being in the present though.
