Apparently, he needs a refresher course. Especially the part about humility and compassion.
Good news! That's in there too! Boy is he getting the works! What a lucky guy!!!

And people chose December 25 to rejoice His birth using the Nativity scene, the Wise men, etc. And not the claim that Dec 25 is His birthday. We knew that already.
I never said you made a statement.
What they know? It's about their faith. It's about testing the word of the Bible. The Bible is a historical document with eye-witness accounts, archelogical accounts that have been corroborated, etc.
As for your opinion on free will, fine. I have mine, you have yours. What more do you want?
No, kokonutless, you are the one not making sense.
He was trying to bait me. very sad is all I can say.
Nutless? *cough* I think he's a kokoNUT.
You think that no one here has studied the New Testament?
That could be too. I was referring to something other than his mental status.:P
My point was they not exist. God, Santa, unicorns, Tooth Fairy, leprechauns, Jesus. All fictional.
Jesus Christ is not a fictional person.
"Studied" is a matter of interpretation on your part.
No bait. You made the statement:
"If that is the only time we celebrate, then we are not really following the teachings of Jesus."
Spreading the Good news takes care of that starting with Luke, for example.
If you cannot qualify your statement a bit more when asked, why bother?

This is baiting because I can no more sum up Jesus in one posting (or one thread) than I could sum up my life in one posting. I think you take a simplistic view of the Bible. It's not intended to be a historical record. It's intended to convey to you through stories and examples of how you should live your life. There are people here in AD that follow many of the rules set in the bible but do not practice Christianity. I think that should tell you something fundamental about the roll that the bible has played in our history and the shaping of our societies. This is why you should "bother".
Come on, Cheetah. Give credit where credit is due. He takes a simplistic view of everything.
Jesus Christ is not a fictional person.
Sometimes I wonder the same thing with you but I'm not complaining.
Oh, how noble of you.
