2 week break, I'm doing good to look forward to my 4 day break from work. I can't wait til the day I've completed my degree and I've been hired on as a teacher. Weekends off, holiday breaks, and summers off and I could make 32K depending on the school district.

32k? damn. that's not enough to live comfortably in NJ.

All of that is nice but the money definitely sucks. That's the only issue I have with teaching.

I won't get rich teaching but it'd definitely fit my lifestyle, plus it would/could/maybe leave time for other things I enjoy such as writing, photography, and art which I could do freelancing for extra money. But as a single parent, teaching would be ideal, it's practical.

Google tells me that Botti will be using her "tools of destruction." Have fun, Botti! I love your tag line "elitist snob."

Nope. "A Crack in Time" Tools of destruction is older. The new game is fun.

And I love my tag line. I adopted if from what a group of us were called by an older gentleman with old age hearing loss when we said we didn't think they really used stem cells here for hearing loss.

More than myself, who sometimes feels oppressed, were quite complimented. :P

Same here! I'm going to try to do everything I need to get done throughout the next few weeks so that I can spend those two weeks doing absolutely nothing. :)

We can be on a countdown

I'm glad my VP doesn't freeze up or slow down anymore after replacing the router for the living room as a main router...only paid $6.99 for it. :D

Around here 32K is considered good money. You're not rich, but you make enough to make ends meet with a small amount left over. Not enough to splurge on but, instead you save it for later, or pay taxes with it.

I'm currently making about 27K at Tyson. Now you know why I still live at home.

Arkansas' median income for a household is 39k. That is well below the US Average, so.. You're really raking it in if you make 30k, and your spouse does too.

How much did you pay for the first router though?

zero. :D It belongs to the house when I moved in....so I was at goodwill and spotted a 108 G netgear...exactly the same style as the 54 G Netgear that's having issues...also I noticed internet seems faster now and VP seems smoother now. When I move out, I will take that router with me and put back that 54 G Netgear.

yea that's what I thought so. the living cost in your hometown is considerably lot cheaper than where I live. I feel bad for my teacher friends in NJ.

That's a pretty good income in an area with pretty low cost of living. :)

I used to earn $32,000 in a year at one point.

Exactly, thus 32K is good money for around here.

I can only hope I ever will.
