compression is required to make espresso so those "cheap" espresso maker tend not to last long and it breaks easily.

notice that the portable espresso maker that I showed above has CO2 canister inside.
 
Got one of my DVD towers moved in from the garage yesterday and was able to unpack one box of DVD's that the kids have been bugging me about. Today, I got a timer in my stocking from my mother and now we just get to find me a little side lamp that will take a 40 watt bulb and I will have a way to wake up on time in the morning that is cheap. Since I can't hear a things, the alarm clock is wasted on me.

Hmm, maybe I need to locate the former owners of Higher Grounds and see if they might be willing to sell me their espresso machine. they went out of business when Starbucks showed up in town.
 
I think I hurt my head while emphatically signing, "I understand!" to my daughter. :(
 
My heater in my room decided to spontaneously combust and try to put my room on fire...now it smells horribly like something died burning

:-o be safe! I don't know what kind of heater you have but you must immediately ventilate your room! It's burning toxic substance.

It's a tiny one and I did. It just stunk really bad for a while. Thank you very much for the concern. :ty:
 
I thought little space heaters were banned since they are so prone to catching fire. Like the older ones like I am thing of.

This one seems kind of newer, but it belonged to my cousin's and she doesn't use it anymore. It worked pretty well for awhile but then went kaput so I'll probably have to go buy another one. I'm prone to freezing and my room is very cold so I am in dire need of one.

Congrat. Tip - you might want to put the award in front of dark cover so that those with bad eyesight can easily read what it says.
