Crackers always help.

Pepperonis did the trick :cool2:

Anyway, the ex was shocked at my determination to break free from his grasp. He stuttered and remarked about my positive cling-free outlook on life...

"... what... you can live without me?"

Yep, had your chance! Five years worth ;)

So I am feeling a whole lot better, even my queasiness disappeared!

Now I can enjoy the night

Tonight, i was supposed to do some shopping but my son got sick. He is feeling better now so we are staying in. Just finished cleaning the house which was my plan for tmw so I can go shopping tmw. Switched the days for my plans. Then, after shopping and all that, my hubby, kids and I are going to PA for a Christmas party with the girls whom I have my girls' night out and their families. I cant wait. I havent seen my girlfriends in almost 5 months. Too long!

Damn.. I need a girls night out.. :( been a while for me as well. Looking forward to the New Years Eve party though.. LOL

I bet the people from Quebec, Ontario, Maine, Vermont and so on are laughing at you guys.

Oh I'm sure they are. Right along with Michigan and Buffalo, NY. That "Lake Effect" is a total beast.

I'm not ashamed to say that we Washingtonians are wussies when it comes to snow.

You have nothing to be Ashamed of LOL.. compared to this Floridian gal that has never seen snow... :P

Wow, that sounds fancy! Hope that you like them!

I do like them, but I'm taking a little while getting used to them. Whenever I first try on a new hearing aid everything sounds hollow for a few days. Thanks, Sally! :)

Wow those sound really cool, Loghead. How do they work for you?

Quite well thanks, LDNanna! :) The only issue was that it took a while for me to adjust my headphones so that they were compatible with the hearing aid. Every time I brought my headphones too far up (I'm assuming too close to the speaker), the hearing aids would exit the program I was using and go back into regular mode. I like using my headphones on the computer because even though I can never understand the lyrics without seeing them written down, I still like listening to the music.

What's everybody up to this weekened??

Relaxing for the most part! Although I do think I might start wrapping a few things and work on a couple projects. I don't know if these things will actually get done, but it's a good goal.

Oh...

You never a snow-day?

We often have them throughout the winter here. Usually if there is a large amount of snowfall (such as last Wednesday when a foot of snow fell on us) or freezing rain, they will usually cancel almost everything. Luckily I'm in a rural area, so buses are more likely to get cancelled. :)

LOL! Nahhh we're nice people. Pfffttt... of course we're laughing at them! :P (Just kiddin'). We're always prepared, but it always seems like everyone else isn't. It's winter. Winter = snow.

This post is now my half way to 5k posts! ;)

Out of curiosity, I just looked back to some of my old threads from all the way back to 2007. Wow... Good memories. Even some threads that I don't remember when I wrote them!

What was your favorite one?

What was your favorite one?

Not sure. I'll look in those soon. So, keep an eye on this post when I come back and edit this. :)

1. I love this thread!: http://www.alldeaf.com/creative-writing-visual-art/42451-dark-story-question.html

I still remember that four of us were discussed about the dark stories. It's kinda of sad that we are now a sort of "faded away" and just chatting with them and JClarke, on, off, on off on, and and go on. I realized I've not heard of Elwood in age! O_O I am surely miss him. :aw:

2. Last one, my favorite thread. I still remember how much sweet and friendly members were when I first joined half two years ago. It was very nice move! ;)

That's all.

These early days of my new job  three years later, still at the same job.

Oh, yes! I remember about that. I think you said you enjoy and like your job. Am I? > . >

Since I moved to a new team in the department in late 2007, been the same ever since, sometimes it is boring but only can't complain of the salary ;)
