:shock: I'm sorry to hear that Jiro! :( My old dog had several seizures before she died. Luckily I had never viewed any of them, but I remember hearing about one from when my parents were home and it was pretty bad. Right after she had the seizure, my parents went to take her to the emergency room at an animal hospital in Ottawa, but she refused to get back in the car and then she went back to her old self. She was a little bit disoriented at first though. We think that she had a couple seizures while we weren't home a couple times as well as we'd come home to find her in a strange mood.

yea. the medication wasn't needed because he's not at epileptic stage yet. What he had was a typical brief seizure that most dogs have once in a while. This is probably his 2nd or 3rd seizure this year. But it still makes my heart stops :(

She really was! She lived for nearly 17 years and almost died countless amounts of times. She lived a long and happy life! It just sucks that the last days of her life were spent in discomfort. :(

They are frightening to watch, whether it is a pet, a family member, or a stranger.

I kept waking myself up last night with coughing. I took some mucinex and I'll be taking it easy today. Still have laryngitis. AUGHHHHH!!!! :pissed:

Other than that, I'm in a pretty good mood! :rofl:

noooo not my dad. it was my dog.

mucinex did help when I had a flu. congested nose = ANNOYING! :mad: but... makes you wonder why michael jackson had a hole in his nose for a while, eh? :hmm:

That was because I had a head cold. It was really tiring and not enjoyable. I'm pretty much over the cold now, but I still have a bit of a runny nose. But other than that, I'm doing much better! Today I feel quite awake. :)
 
Been up since 4:45 AM and didnt get to sit down and relax until 730 PM. POOOPPED and looking forward to watching House and Lie to Me with my hubby tonight if he shows his face. I dont even know where he is in the house. LOL! Hope everyone had a good day!

Sorry to hear about your dog's having a seizure. I remember you mentioned it in your other thread. Is that same dog?
 
Finally set up the pack n play in our bedroom...hubby said too early! NOOOO I prefer to be all ready for our baby to arrive! :) It called NESTING!

SO have a good night ADers! :)
 
I had a crazy morning, the gate came apart to hold to block the dog from going to the rest of the condo. He was placed in the kitchen, he knocked it down bec it was loose from the beginning. I came home to a surprise:eek3: Now, everything is cleaned up and now, we are relaxing :)
