Oh! Okay. I didn't know that Canadians and Americans celebrates their holidays differently.

Yup! And I still don't know where we are celebrating Thanksgiving. I'm hoping we will spend a quiet day at home. My grandmother hates the fact that we got two dogs (she's self-centered... she thinks that she has a right to a say in our affairs) and she also hates the dogs even though she's never met them. We usually go to her house for Thanksgiving, but I don't overly want to this year because I don't like the idea of the dogs having to spend another day in their crate. She would never let us take them with us.

Differently? Not really... just different days. All Thanksgiving is... is just a feast to celebrate the end of the harvest season. The whole "be thankful," Puritans and Native Americans thing and so on... were just added on to attach folklores to the holiday.

Just yours happens to end in November throughout the entire colonies.

I meant to say that my sister's dog had same name - Cookie as Jiro's dog's name but it's different kind of dog. It's Bernese Mountain dog. Sorry for the misunderstanding!!! :(

I went to the concerts many times in the past. (Back in 1970's) I had a blast time there. I am sure you will have a blast time, too. Enjoy! :D

*it's a pix of Savage Chicken again. A cookie monster from Sesame Street's yelling - COOKIE COOKIE COOKIE! The chicken's angrily yelling at him - "Dude, what the hell is wrong with you?" The Cookie Monster looks dumbfounded.
 
I love Bernese Mountain dogs! They're fabulous. The only downside is that they have a short life span due to their large size. I couldn't get attached and say good bye so soon. I opted for a medium sized dog instead.
 
Geez! My daughter has strep throat and my son has a runny nose and deep cough. This just never quits, doesnt it?!
