Missing my relaxing summer days already! :(

Hmmm. So many choices. I remember the candy cigarettes. But you're younger than I am. They probably didn't sell them when you were a kid.

How about licorice?

If not, peruse this site and let me know which one is your fav.

They did when I was little. OK FINE -

Skittle
mini-Jawbreaker
Smarties

I'm a hard candy type.

My kids love skittles, too. Come on down and I'll give you some skittles. It's only across the whole country.

I think that I need to make a special delivery in NY. I've only been there once and didn't get to see the sights. I wish!

AND priors as well. You got calculator, I didn't back in 70's. Hey, back then calculator cost whopping 200 dollars! Don't forget that was 70's dollars.

hmm "old-school"... does that term always mean 70's?

what about if if I'm a grandpa and I say "old-school" to my grandchildren? Does it still refer to 70's and priors even though I was born in 80's?

I think that old school is a relative thing. The older you are, the further back it goes. :giggle:

yea good point. In my time frame, old school would be 70-80's and for ya'all - it would be 60's or prior

Not all of those are old candies.

And I wasn't born in the 60's or prior. I recognize several of those.

I am not ready for all the candy! Every year I always promise myself I wouldnt eat my kids' candies but I always do! Too tempting!!!

That is right baby! MMMM! Love those stuff especially the jaw breakers!!! It is hard to find the mini one unless you know where to get them. :)

I also like Sprees as well. But we don't buy candies much like we used to. Only when I am in mood for it but now I am stay low on it till baby is born. :)

Just like my wife!

Same here! I would sneak in my son's Halloween loot and take one or two. Hee!
