I compared with both cars (fiesta and Mazda 2) ford takes the crown becasue it has more torque and can climb up slight hills in 5th gear, with power speed. Madza has to downgrade to 4th when out of steam.

Right. You should get new Honda CR-V. I love it and can climb up in power on Pennsylania hills. But CR-V in Australia is more expensive cost than USA. You can't afford to buy it. Let you choose Ford Fietsa or Mazda 2.

I never heard of Mazda 2 here in the US market..probably only in Australia, I guess.

Do you really care about power, Jclarke? Your old Fiesta is a econobox....power=worse gas mileage.

No, the car I drove before I crashed it last week, beat outta my ex-friend's mistshitbsi lancer (2002) and I was like wtf. Anyway never mind the test race. The car is just a little zippy car. You know, I like fast cars, hate slow cars.

Chevy57, I can get a second hand Honda CR-V with low mileage for $18,000 but dont want them becuase it is hard to find in manual so I rather have the Ford Fiesta.

take it over to auto thread, fools

What happened to the freedom of speech, Jiro? This is "anything you can talk about" thread, no one cares about it!

Manual cars suck! I hope you can find a car that you will be happy with, JClarke

never underestimate Australian cars

That tells me that you NEVER drove one with manual transmission, yes?

No I drove one before, I did not like them because I had a hard time hitting the clutch in time everytime I stop at a red light and I have to do it over and over, I guess I could not grasp driving a manual car, I went back to automatic ever since and never looked back and that was 13 years ago but I would be willing to learn again just in case of a emergency if I have to drive a manual car though

Learning to drive manual is very simple and easy. I am a full time manual driver since I learnt it about 4 years ago. Been driving the white car, which is a manual until I had that collison last week. I vowed never to own a automatic anymore. Automatic = boring. Manual = fun driving!

Automatic cars can be good for eating and drinking while driving, haha but if I have a girlfriend who owns a manual car, I will ask her to teach me just in case I need to drive her car while my car is in the shop or something but I am afraid I will wreck her car

and no full control. I trust manual much more than auto.

Same here, manual cars gives you the better opportunity to control more.

I can eat and drink while driving manually, pretty simple. Stalling a car if that is part of your concern, doesn't hurt the car engine at all.
