That is really pretty common old recipe. My grandmother used it. Deaf grandmother. And she lived to 90 years.

1 cup boiling water

Mix those 4 ingredients and drink. {If you drink alcohol, which I do not, you can add a jigger of rum, and it is then called a hot toddy. My grandmother drank those for a cold.}
