I would love to sleep at least 8-9 hours a night but that hasn't been happening in a long time.
do you always wake up, feeling shitty?

Why not? I can do it, I've changed my crappy schedule and adjusted it plenty.
Only thing I still have gripes on were waking up at 6AM for work in Californian traffic.
get a motorcycle
...or carpool.
they do but it's still a lot of traffic jam. with motorcycle - you're allowed to lane split.
I've noticed that since Spring 2006 I have not slept an 8-hour sleep. I sleep in fits too - 3 or 4 hours at a time, usually. I can't believe how little sleep I can operate on. I do notice the interesting timing of that - it is when I split from my ex-husband. I'm sure matters on the mind have everything to do with how well you sleep.

I have the same problem too often. Too much on my mind too. Hope u will start sleeping better soon.
Anyways, yesterday the family and I went bowling and dinner with one dear friend, his girlfriend, and their daughter. This guy and I used to be so close and we were part of this group when we were going to Gallaudet but lost touch in the last 5 or 6 years. Finally reconnected through another old friend from the same group on Christmas Eve. It is so strange that most of my friends from the Gally group are starting to reconnect this year. It is a good feeling too cuz we were so tight.
medical transcription? i used to study medical transcription before i lost my hearing in 1995. i loved it! smile. are you taking online courses or attending college?
It's an at home course through At-Home Professions. I've enjoyed it. Can't wait to get it done. I'm about 1/2 done with it.
after not getting any sleep for over 2 weeks during a manic episode in 2006, i can definitely attest to this.
Wow! I think you broke the world record for human surviving without sleep!

Hi Mints. How are you feeling?
Oh, Hi, Bottesini! You must have sensed that I'd turned this thing off because I thought it was getting monotonous.
I don't think anybody wants to know how I'm feeling, but since you asked, PAIN!! Unstoppable pain all over my body, and my doctors think I'm making it up and seeking drugs. I told my GI doctor that my pain was an 8 on the pain scale, so he told me I should take OTC Advil. That does next to nothing for me. My mom told me I should have said 10. She has this pain too, and so does my whole sister (my half sister does not). My whole sister and I were discussing this last night, and we think whatever the problem is is genetic. All three of us have the same problem: doctors don't believe us. I have a respiratory illness of some sort, probably caught from my mom. I refuse to go to the doctor because they think I'm a hypochondriac, and they'll prescribe me a $40 bottle of white un-marked skittles, and I'll just end up sicker. I've decided to just wait until somebody finds me passed out on the ground somewhere, and maybe they'll believe me then, and hopefully it won't be too late. My head feels like it's about to explode. I can't take any more pain meds, or I'll OD. If I end up in hospital for that, they'll stick me in rehab.
Other than that, I'm doing great! I've had a very annoying sore in my mouth these past several days, but that seems to be getting better now!
mints,
i'm sorry you're not feeling well.
given the extent of your pain, have you ever thought about going to a pain clinic?
