Dell laptops can be easily get these viruses and other stuff, you can say goodbye to these in less than a year. I think you should get a netbook or a macBook instead

Or similar laptop as I have -- Compaaq Presario C700

I went thru 2 large cups of coffee today and i don't know why it's not having much effect on me. Neither do 3 cans of Red Bull. that's why I made appointment with neurologist/psychiatrist for next friday to get some Provigil 250mg drugs... I think I am narcoleptic but I'll need an expert to officially determine that so that my insurance can cover that medication... otherwise it's $380 out of my pocket.

I am envious of my friend who is hyper-sensitive to even half of Red Bull.....

i've heard provigil is excellent for helping people maintain their energy. i know someone who takes it for lethargy due to depression.

meds are expensive allright. i take 6 different meds and would never be able to afford them without insurance (especially my meds for bipolar -- they're *expensive*).

I did try to go to bed and I just stare at ceiling, tumble around and 2 hours pass by.... 3 hours.... it is very frustrating. The only way to get me to sleep is to get very exhausted so I do that on computer.

in addition to provigil, you could also try trazodone. that's what i take to fall asleep (200mg) and it knocks me out cold in 20 minutes.

but it's same for any computers. It's not the hardware or brand... it's the computer user.

pc's rule. so do dells. i've always owned dell computers and have never had a problem with them, knock on plastic. :)

True, Jrio despite with the latest M$ OS 'Vista' it can make you frusrate the hellva a lot, ya know?

i'm currently using windows vista home premium edition and hate it with a passion. i'd much rather be using xp because it was a much more stable system overall.

macs are just as prone to viruses as pc's.
it is more difficult to infect Mac than PC due to Mac's UNIX's robust security structure. PC's internal security feature and file structure is laughable... which is why for security-sensitive purpose... business sticks with NT-based OS... not XP. I'm using W2K3... screw XP and Vista and everything :mad2:

:mad2: it's a treason to misspell my name :mad2:

OOps, sorry, Jiro!

:hmm: ok you have been pardoned of this heinous treason which is punishable by death.... but I'm in a good mood now cuz I'm eating my japanese sponge cake. :cool2:

screw windows 2000. windows 95 is better, imo.

even better than that were the good old dos days. :D

not only is it more difficult to infect a mac compared to a pc due to its' security structure (even though i still stand by my position that macs are just as prone to viruses as pc's), there's also the fact that there are far less mac users than pc users so hackers spend more time developing viruses for pc's instead.

who misspelled your name? i didn't.
