Quiet day around here. (actually it's quiet everyday! )

But saw something awesome--I was looking out the window and there was an American bald eagle perched on one of our roofs of the cottages!

I love owls. There used to be one near my parents' house...I used to be so paranoid he would eat my little dog. lol

well, I saw hundreds of bald eagles in Alaska back in 1988. No one replied to my post about that so no one cares.

Really? AWESOME! I wanted to see Bald Eagles! Which part of Alaska was that? We are talking about going up in future.

It was around near Homer, Alaska which is on the pennisula south of Anchorage. You can find hundred of bald eagles, or a lot of them in Washington state and Alaska and Canada.
