I thought Spring/autumn equinox begins around September 21st, and March 21st Spring and Fall always opposite between north of equator and south of equator, USA is in north of equator while Austraila is in south of the equator. Same applies to Summer/winter Equinox is on and around Dec/June 21st.
I had a bad day today, got my ankle sored playing a basketball game. And I post almost all "Loveless" quotes in every forums that I'm a member from.

This means that winter Down Under in Australia runs from June 1 through Aug. 31 and summer from Dec. 1 through Feb. 28 (29th in leap years). This is true of all of Australia, including Western Australia.

I confuse that summer/winter equinox date is different between USA and Australia. Summer time change on december 21 that should be in starting on winter season but Australia official is starting Dec 1. Why??
