The Civil War.

What happen if there was no Civil War?

UK ended Slavery in 1833, I think.

And USA ended Slavery in 1863.

Transmissions In 1832, W. H. James invented a rudimentary three-speed transmission. Panhard and Levassor are
credited with the invention of the modern transmission - installed in their 1895 Panhard. On April 28, 1908,
Leonard Dyer obtained one of the earliest patents for an automobile transmission.

Eli Whitney was the inventor of the cotton gin and a pioneer in the mass production of cotton. Whitney was born in Westboro, Mass., on Dec. 8, 1765, and died on Jan. 8, 1825. He graduated from Yale College in 1792. By April 1793, Whitney had designed and constructed the cotton gin, a machine that automated the separation of cottonseed from the short-staple cotton fiber.

So really.... the South, didn't really need Slaves, cause
they could afford machines.

I unfortunately born in 'bible belt' area (which is in south area) and we moved to California when I was 5 years old... I was very glad that my mom finally convinced my dad to move out.

Since I am all for Women's Rights so naturally, I am rooting for North.

It is kinda interesting to see how we came to America and took religion seriously... only to see us follow Egyptian beliefs of slavery while being against Egyptians at the same time. ;)

Some things never change. :nono:

Will be posting tonite, since My hubby wants to say more since he made me to post his comments under my name. hehe. look forward to it tonite then.

Who cares? We were not born in that time.

We received different stories from school education about our country.

Example about Hilter time:
I recieved school education about Hilter time in England which it's different education where my German hubby received.

I received school education good thing about British's history but my hubby received different about British's history.

We received the education about Northern and Southern Civil War in America is the reason is because of slave rights. All what I read the posts here is different than we received education in Europe :dunno:

Anyway, I dont care because I was not born at that time. :ugh2:
