THAT makes a sound!??!?

No it doesn't, in fact, a whole forest is completely silent after a tree falls. All animals, birds, and worms all hold their breath in anticipation of a sound that never comes. :(

Poor tree, I hope it had a good life and will now enjoy it's new (short) life in my fireplace...

Anything with a lot of roughness or a (scratchy) lot of smoothness (squeaky) has sound when rubbed.

Like it feels, Velcro/loopand hook fasteners.

Actually I'm trying to think of sounds that do not sound like they feel.

Animals- like crickets and mice... would be one type of example, but as far as objects the harness and roughness or smoothness is close to the 'sound'.

Animals- fells like / sounds like

male ducks (drakes) sound like pillows feel, sound like a whisper.
female ducks (ducks) sound like knocking on a hollow door fells.
baby ducks (ducklings) sound like popcorn popping, feels like cotton candy.

Mule- sounds like a car crash (metal crushing metal) , feels like sandpaper to the sensitive areas.

horse - (many different vocalizations) sounds like wind feels, or laughter, or angry cat looks (cat- arched back puffed up horse -ears back ,snort, stamp).

cat purr- sound like it feels on a real cat, or like an engine of a muscle car.

Dog whine - sounds like glass shattering or rubbing crystal to make it sing with a wet finger... feels like static shock.

Um... request?

Never thought of a dog's whine feeling like a static shock. You have a way of describing things.....

Pants when people walk, and shoes shuffling on carpet. Leaves in the trees. Someone picking their nose. Dog tags, dogs scratching, dogs SMACKING. These all shocked me when I found out they had noises. Sometimes, I wonder how hearing people stand it. lol

That makes a sound?!?!?! I didn't know picking your nose made a sound! Well I learned something new!

:ugh: I didn't want to know that one!

Well, yeah, apparently if your nose is dry it makes a swishing noise like when you rub your skin. If your nose is wet it makes a squishing noise and I'm told even a slurping, sucking, popping noise when the finger is removed from the nostril sometimes. Who knew?!

WHAT? OMG, I just realized for the first time in my life that picking your nose makes a sound.

I feel a little bit stupid now. :aw:

Maybe I am not a hearie but actually a deafie because I have never ever heard someone make a sound when they picked (or scratched the inside of) their nose. haha

I've never heard a sound from anyone picking a nose. Of course, I'm not around a lot of people picking their noses in front of me.

What are y'all using in there, a roto-rooter???

I've never heard any noise other than perhaps a slight scratching sound from anyone picking their nose.

From sneezing or blowing your nose hard, of course yes, but that's a different thing.

I've definitely heard squishy sounds come from a little kid digging around in their nose before

I wonder how many people are going to read this and then pick their nose to see if it makes noise. LOL

Or even better, admit to doing so in order to report their findings ...
