Ummm, no they are not. Their "fangs" cannot pierce deep enough and the "poison" does little more than irritate the skin. Check out Mythbusters Episode 13.

I TOTALLY forgot about this programme. I used to watch it when I was young kid. I never knew it song! Cos I don't see anyone talking and that why I loved it as kid. Lol, after so many years years and now I just found out it song programme!

I had Sesame Street and Mr. Rodgers... the purple dino was when I was about all done with those things...

Mom hated the show because at least in SS and Mr.R and ... Captain Kangaroo... bad things happened but got resolved, in Barney nothing bad happend (when it was first out).

I mean Mr. Hopper DIED in Sesame Street... and they dealt with it on-air...

(I remember the rebroadcast of it)
 
^^^Uh, oh - geezer moment! Mr. Hooper dying was past my SS days! I never saw it - but heard it was handled very well.
