I know Buckie is wrong here, But baiting him is wrong too, If you guys think that getting revenge is the answer then that show immaturity on your part or anyone who is involved with this plan. This girl could get raped, or even worst murder, even if it's not from Buckie, It could be from another older man. So we should focus our attention on this 14 years old girl before her own life ends.

I do agree that this is a hard lesson learned on internet safety..not just for her but for everyone here. I'd also like to note that this is not a revenge thing. Its true that I disliked steve...I have never asked any of the mods to ban him, nor have I requested any of his posts to be edited where he was critical of me. I really could care less what that guy thinks of me. I work for the police, and it is no shock that criminals do not like the police...so I could care less about his anti-taylor or anti-police attitude. The only time I cared was when it was endangering a 14 year old girl. Had this girl come to me to say that it was ANY member here, the exact same thing would have happened. My attitude of steve did not have any influence on any of this...and even if I were vengeful, it was detectives from 3 jurisdicitions working on this and chatting with him.

I wanted to remind you. Some of you don't know what had happened few weeks ago, I am not in mood for revenge at all. What happened few weeks ago is that he created a thread asking where is this 14 years old girl!!!! Then he mentioned "WHen she becomes 18 yrs old, it wouldnt matter" That is a big fat red flag!!! I was shocked to learn that mod didn't do anything but take that thread down! I knew something was going on from there. Why nothing was done until now when it gets real bad? The fat red flags was in front of MOD's eyes! There is too many red flags that he said in between making it too obviously. I hope this is a serious lesson to be learn. I think the policy of enticing is too vague. Many of times, including myself wasn't interested in starting the trouble of others, only that I just add them to get them attention and warn them if they get to mess up they are gonna get banned. Of course they push beyond the enevelope, do it make me enticing them? I don't think so!

It is time for mod to take this seriously with any of members, otherwise there will be trouble waiting ahead.

I would like to address some of the comments made about 'setting him up'. First, there was no set up on my part or from any police agencies. Was the girl talking to him? Yes. Did she make contact with other members here too? Probably as I know she has friends here.

It was her and her guardian that initially contacted me about it. I then went to my supervisor and explained the situation. I also explained some of the past interaction that I've had with Steve. Then, detectives were notified of all of the involved agencies as this involves 3 different jurisdictions.

ALL messages sent by her to him were reviewed, and it is something that I would not consider flirting (but I could be wrong). Then, a detective took over her account with her permission. The detective replied to him only when he contacted *her*. Messages were sent saying things like "Wanna Chat", etc. Repeatedly this detective told him that certain chat programs would not work (such as ICQ). He provided links to her to download various chat programs and kept telling her via PM and e-mail to get on with the chat.

In one message, steve requests pictures of her, etc. The detective replied again stating her age as 14 and that she was a "little girl". This does not sound like anyone setting Steve up. His reply to her was:



Steve provided a list of hotels and *she* picked one and he agreed to meet her there and then pay her the money for the cost of the hotel room.

All of this was filed in the Maryland court system. A court commissioner agreed with the "Application for Statement of Charges" and found probable cause existed and that a crime did infact take place. To top it off, Alex apparently told steve to not contact this girl at all. A protection order was also filed on her behalf to keep him away from her. She has received 3 messages from him already tonight regarding this thread. Whats scary to me is he is STILL claiming that they can meet each other and that they can meet "once taylor is out of the way". After all this, he is still going after her.

Yes I'm agree that he break law for sex talk to 14 years old girl... What he did is a sick... I'm glad that you and your crews experiment him until proof comes... Keep the update with news... All what I hope for him is get a professinal help... I can tell from his posts is his immaturity and childish.... It could be that he has an emotional problem.

But at Steve's side... He claimed that she contact him and want to have a chat with him. ?

Well, this is a proof that if NOTHING is done long time ago, the problem is going to get bigger and everybody will jump in drama. It is nothing new, here is proof again... Nothing is done before 9-11 and bang! Bonked and everybody jumped into the "patriotic" fever. Same thing here! Yea, point is... loseRS should have know the law, he is way way way old enough to know there is law exist. Anybody under 18 is considered incapable of making any decision. That is expected from any adults. Since child is not capable of making sane decision, adult should have make the final decision, meaning adult must know the right answer is "NO"! End of discussion from there. If this 14 years old girl flirts, it is best to report, nothing more, nothing less. Adults have the responsible and are capable of knowing what is right and what is wrong, loseRS don't think this way. I would have left him alone if he was smart enough to know that this girl was incapable and making bad decision. It is just same way, if little girl ask you to jump off the golden gate bridge... would you go for it? go figure!

Yea, I agree with you. I think the law should have some exception in there. I think 21 is good cut off age instead of 18, but for anybody who is over 21 shouldn't be with under 18, period. I see 18-21 as gray area.
