Teacher in Colorado arrested for asking for topless photos

The teacher was 58 years old and students were 15-17 years old.

VERY, VERY pedophile.

It is felony crime offense for teacher to ask sexual images from students.

To answer that question fairly, lets think. If a teacher is asking to see young ladies private parts, and when they resist, and he keeps it up, and to the point of demanding to see their private parts, then he is most certainly on the verge of committing a much more serious sexual crime, and had he not been stopped when he was, he most likely would've done it.

If he had succeeded in committing a more serious sexual crime, he would've been facing a whole lot more time than he is now. I'm always of the belief that no teacher has ANY right to see young ladies private parts, no matter if they think they can get away with it or not-- they WILL have karma bite them back.

hold on man, relax. how is this guy a pedophile. he doesnt even meet the medical definition of the term. are we just putting new meaning to terms now? why not just use proper terms to describe the behavior.

Not really, law enforcement, psychologists, and court system will see him as pedophile because 58 years old man has attraction with minor, that was pedophile.

Its not being a pedo unless they were children. An adult asking to see the breasts of teenagers is illegal yes, and for that this guy must be punished. that makes him a criminal, the asking of the photos makes him a dirty old bastard but not a pedo by definition. and it matters. because they are very different animals thus why they are classed different in medical literature

Teens are part of children, known as minor and they are controlled by parent, so they don't have same legal as adult.

However, the term pedophilia is commonly used to refer to any sexual interest in minors below the legal age of consent, regardless of their level of physical or mental development.

No i'm not. but the medical term for him, as i already posted in this thread would be Ephebophile, (, i dunno how hearies would say this term). He could be cross classified a Hebephile due to the inclusion of the 14 year old.

but for the most part hes a Ephebophile

Minor-- Under 18 years of age

Adult-- 18 or older (In some states, it's 21 or older)

Therefore, he IS a pedo. You do NOT ask to see private parts of anyone under 18, regardless of where you live. That is the way it works, and if you think it's okay to see private parts of ladies under 18, then you are big-time mistaken, and you have got a LONG way to go before you learn the true meaning of what it means to be on the wrong side of this. Trust me-- I've seen it, and it's not a pretty sight. Trauma, therapy, and potential lawsuits. Parents would have the right to sue the school district for hiring him in the first place, because he kept it up even after the police got the warrant for his laptop. This WILL become a nightmare for the school district.

i hate prison, i hate jail. i hated it. really really really hated it. i was the only Deaf guy on the range. and it was very very hard. its only through the grace of God i didn't off myself...

Was just curious what you were in for I know it's personal so it's ok if you dont want to say ... you did the crime and did the time as long as you learned your lesson ...

and nope I've never been in jail or prison only when my nephew(that is a cop) took me on a tour of the old closed down jail once when he was part timing as a PD dispatcher ... I've been in public service over 20 years mostly in fire/rescue but did stint as a traffic officer a few years ago till my hearing got so bad I changed assignments ... so I've sent a few people to jail LOL

Yes i posted that term early in this thread. no one should be ill at any of my comments. again for what its worth my stance is he does not deserve life in prison.

Heres the thing, by having life in prison for asking to see pictures of teenage breast, you are by the law of unintended consequences making teenage girls less safe.

Due to this

Once guys realize they will get less time for rape (who gets life for rape?) but will get life for asking to see pictures, as what some here have done, Then the one wishing to see the pictures will easily decide to rape instead. after all its far less time. thats that.

The above has a name in criminology but you'll have do a little studying, if you want to know the ramifications of demanding life in prison for people. without having a grasp of consequences.

It doesn't just effect them nor the victims, it has a watering down effect on all other offenses. and by extension actually waters down the notion of a deterrent.

Indeed. the logic is sound though cold. If your going to get life, but maybe just get a dime (10 years) for murder (many do) then mine as well murder her, save yourself allot of time. you will be out sooner for murder then for asking to see pictures.
That is how cons think. That is how the system is designed. When you make a game of peoples lives by attaching numbers to offenses, many people then will learn to play the game. and many by extension will get very good at doing it.

its just a thought to chew on.

As for learning the lesson, yeah in the end for me i believe that its not so much where a man has been, but what he becomes that in the end matters more
