I don't watch TV very much that doesn't make me dying. I am definiely sure you'll be fine without TVs or video games. There is a way to have a kind of funable games, watching old fashioned dramas, dancing, or whatever.

TVs and video games are a want.

Only needs are food, water, shelter (sp?), and one more thing I forget. That is a need, not a want. Otherwise, you can't live without needs, and you still can live without wants.

Just saying. :)

You will see anyone said that can't live without KFC, McDonalds, Wal Mart, etc.

No, I will not die but I will have seeking for alternative or loophole, that what I did about not hardcore console gaming anymore but more PC gamer now because PC games are cost cheaper and new games at $50 would cost less than $30 in few month with some of exception.

Low income people can still afford basic TV and watch it via antenna but I'm not TV watcher, anyway.
 
People will NOT die without their KFC or McDonalds, or any fast food restaurants. As long as they get their basic needs met such as food and water they'll survive. It's not necessary to have a KFC to survive. Food, yes. Fast food chain? No.
