Now VamPyroX has me very curious about the sweet tea in his area. I wonder if it is the one by Schepps Dairy, which is owned by Dean Foods with numerous dairy companies throughout the US.
In part of the Southeastern US, Mayfield Dairy, also owned by Dean Foods have been selling sweet tea since I believe the 1970's (long before the company was bought out). As a child, I loved drinking it and would beg for some more. I didn't think I was going ever see
Mayfield Sweet tea again, but about three years ago, I started to see them right next to milk, I was so excited and bought a whole jug. I have to say they weren't as good it was many years ago. Maybe they tasted better in paper cartons or whatever that is called.
I would be surprised if some, if not all of dairies owned by Dean Foods (see list of companies owned by
Dean Foods) that may have sweet tea available elsewhere outside the Southeastern.
