Sweet Tea

Oh I see... Your description about sweet tea sound not bad... Unfortunlately I don't have Lipton tea bags... I check last Wednesday. :( I don't mind to try any homemade things...

If you want me to mail you some tea bags, just PM me. ;)

There's sweet tea that I usually get at Wal-Mart. Those are pretty sweet. :)

Now VamPyroX has me very curious about the sweet tea in his area. I wonder if it is the one by Schepps Dairy, which is owned by Dean Foods with numerous dairy companies throughout the US.

In part of the Southeastern US, Mayfield Dairy, also owned by Dean Foods have been selling sweet tea since I believe the 1970's (long before the company was bought out). As a child, I loved drinking it and would beg for some more. I didn't think I was going ever see Mayfield Sweet tea again, but about three years ago, I started to see them right next to milk, I was so excited and bought a whole jug. I have to say they weren't as good it was many years ago. Maybe they tasted better in paper cartons or whatever that is called. :dunno:

I would be surprised if some, if not all of dairies owned by Dean Foods (see list of companies owned by Dean Foods) that may have sweet tea available elsewhere outside the Southeastern.

LOL, I don't know much about tea. Thanks for telling us, but I agree sometimes the teas are just not good.

McDonald's has a Sweet Tea. Someone said that it's really good. Is it really sweet tea?

If I ever see one, I'll buy it and try it. I know what you mean by plastic jug versus carton...I think drinks taste more fresh in cartons than jugs. I can taste the plastic from jugs. Next time I go grocery shopping, I'll keep an eye out for this.

Nah. The best sweet tea is the good ol' homemade tea. I wish I could give you a cold glass now and let you try it.

I don't remember the brand. Next time I get one this week, I'll find out.

It's served in a small one-serving bottle, but it's very sweet. :)

I love the sweet tea! My husband and my mom's favorite to drink a Sweet Tea from McDonald's.

Ever since I moved to (name of my city), the McDonald's did not have sweet tea. UNTIL TODAY!!!!!!! The manager literally ran out of the cooking area when she saw me, approached me and gave me a hug. She said, "(my name)! LOOK! We finally got the tea machine in!" LOL. I'm not kidding you guys. I've been telling them every single time that I go in that I want sweet tea..and I always fill out a comment card that includes, "Sweet tea please!" on the customer recommendation cards. I never gave up.

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Deafbajagal is one happy girl today!!!!

And pssst. I bought three large sweet tea, out of excitement. Now my bladder is mad at me. ;)
