Fiscal issue aren't on my high priority for good reason because both of conservative and liberal are very divided; it is difficult to have bipartisanship on fiscal issue. For copyright law, hear about broadcast flag in near future that would prevent you from record the tv shows or degrade the resolution to lower quality if you want record so it is form of DRM, that which is allowed under DCMA. I'm against DRM on anything and there's new online authentication for upcoming games that require you to have internet all day as you need play the games so unfair for customers with dial-up or no internet at all because not all place has broadband so it is very bad solution for DRM. Many of crack on DRM has been successful, especially on games and that why I want DCMA to repeal, even copyright law need be reformed and DRM need be banned.

For health care issue, you already know that, it isn't about public options but just different issue need be fixed and already debated in other thread.

txgolfer, now, you understand about how I feel about issues because you and I don't have same structure about concern, priorities or issues with US government.

If Republican Party changes the platform to remove the anti-GLBT and increase of GLBT support among conservatives so would enable for me to get more side with them but it wouldn't happen for while and just slowly change.

in case you didn't know - fiscal issue is always on top of those issues.... otherwise how else are you going to do any other issues if there's no money?
 
Know it will never happen but can see what needs to happen. First get rid of all the incumbents and when you do give them a retirement like most of the rest of us get, a percentage of salary based on number of years worked etc. Next they need to start over and get rid of about 99.99% of current laws. Start out with constitution and ten commandments Then MOST importantly, all elected officials and law makers should have to live under the exact same laws they pass for the rest of us. When we have so many out of jobs and they still give themselves increases in pay? That is our money they are spending! No that is not correct, it is our childrens and grand childrens money. Ours has been spent a long time ago.

I quit wal mart because I'm full time college student.

I worked at wal mart for 3 years and I'm really hard working American, of course and I have been very struggle with cost of living since make $8 per hour isn't enough for me to meet my living needs. After I have stomach issue so I decided to became college student and quit from wal mart after that because I couldn't work in physical job aka hard labor due health reason. You are wrong about SSDI, I'm collect SSI only.

I do cares about taxes that where government spent but both you and I have different opinions on issue so don't start think about me to being careless about tax are spent because I have different views than you do, none of anybody has same views as others.

We had been in debt for many years so I don't have any power to control the US government, except for votes.

I am saying you are wrong because much of the money has not been spent yet.


The Bush stimulus was 1/5 the size of Obama's. Went directly to the taxpayer and Passed with 81 votes in the senate. It was a bi partisan bill and did not pay for pet projects.

The GOP voted No on Obama's stimulus. The size and the earmarks are why they voted no.

If you don't care .....why post in this thread. Hard working people deserve to hear the truth about how their taxes are being spent.

I don't think any politicians would going solve the fiscal issue, neither of republican or democrat has fix it yet.

I believe that tax system in US need be reformed but I don't want rid of Social Security or Medicare/Medicaid, even I don't want FairTax Act to be kicks in because don't agree with 23% to 30% of national sale tax on goods but I just prefer to have payroll tax.

I don't think that flat tax would going be solution for no money but just need Sweden-style tax system to rid of no money issue, however I don't want Sweden or European style tax system to be kicks in because too much to pay than being earned to home.

Cut the spending would be other solution, depends on situation but I don't want cut the SS or Medicare funds, even war funds too if Afghan is too unstable right now.

You say you and I have different views on tax spending . Does this mean you support spending $3 million in tax dollars to build a tunnel for turtle? Do you support spending money for security on dinner cruises even though the cruise company doesn't want the money?

Not every hard working people does agree with you. ;)

I used to be hard working people, it was just at time when Obama passed stimulus package in 2009 so I don't have much opinion on it, except for wasteful as other stimulus package under Bush Admin does.

No, I don't support on both of issues but depends on kind of something..

If government spending to funds to expands the broadband internet in rural area or have investment to expands the WiMax so I would support it.

In my opinion, government spending on improvement of expressway like repaved into smooth road or help broadband companies to expand the faster internet is part of gift for taxpayers.

Not all of people are agree with you about hard working Americans are complain about high government spending.

No, taxpayers has rights to know about where their money will spending but I was just said about not every hard working Americans does agree with you about say stimulus package is pointless, wasteful, bad spending, etc.

You don't understand about my views so let me rephrase.

I only support some of government spending that depends on issues, even it don't means I support stimulus package under Obama Admin.

I'm just issue my opinion about some of government spending are gift to taxpayers.
