Fiscal issue aren't on my high priority for good reason because both of conservative and liberal are very divided; it is difficult to have bipartisanship on fiscal issue. The tax system in US, especially IRS has been existing for many years and never been reformed yet, such as change the tax law, other way to collect tax or change about how would be taxed, for example, flat tax and FairTax Act.
Right now, my high priority on issue is health care, copyright law and some of GLBT rights, especially civil issue, that reason about I don't get agree with many republicans or conservative because of anti-GLBT so that's leading me to lose their respect if they aren't take care of GLBT issue, such as need hate crime law, anti-discrimination law on employment, housing, college, etc and grant the more rights like civil unions. For copyright law, hear about broadcast flag in near future that would prevent you from record the tv shows or degrade the resolution to lower quality if you want record so it is form of DRM, that which is allowed under DCMA. I'm against DRM on anything and there's new online authentication for upcoming games that require you to have internet all day as you need play the games so unfair for customers with dial-up or no internet at all because not all place has broadband so it is very bad solution for DRM. Many of crack on DRM has been successful, especially on games and that why I want DCMA to repeal, even copyright law need be reformed and DRM need be banned.
For health care issue, you already know that, it isn't about public options but just different issue need be fixed and already debated in other thread.
txgolfer, now, you understand about how I feel about issues because you and I don't have same structure about concern, priorities or issues with US government.
If Republican Party changes the platform to remove the anti-GLBT and increase of GLBT support among conservatives so would enable for me to get more side with them but it wouldn't happen for while and just slowly change.
