laptops never last as long as desktops, because heat is the biggest factor, for laptops it is hard to get rid of heat, thats why you notice newer lappys have side vents using 'graphic cards style fans'...this helps to make laptop more comfortable to use over time too
 
or better way say this, addiction is to feed the sickness inside. motivation is to get for aim or goal.

Goal for motivation is good for improve, goal for addiction is to keep be sick to stay same - not improve.

I do remember, when AD's first 20,000 post was achieved in 2007 which was vampy, sorry you just lost your throne :P
