State of Union Address

I'm glad that I never buy your story.

Well you should. Especially in this instance. The President cleary said that foreign companies could now influence elections. But the remainder of the law clearly states that they can not.

Also telling is the school situation in Dillon S.C. The little girl that attended last Febs speech was promised by Obama that he would fix the problems at her school. As of Tuesday nothing had been done. Then The Washington Post, the liberal D.C. newspaper runs an article saying nothing has been done, Amazingly yesterday, just before the speech, help arrived to the tune of 23.5 million. Apparently the fact that even liberal papers were starting to point out that Obama wasn't keeping his word finally spurred him to follow through on a promise.

Right, Txgolf.

Obama clearly misled the viewers during his SOTU address and falsely accussed 5 of 9 Supreme Court judges in front of millions of viewers about their decision regarding freedom of speech that had NOTHING to do with on allowing foreign companies have any financial input to influence upcoming U.S. elections. There is a law already in place that makes this sort of foreign financial contributions illegal.

I'm sure it's not as bad as Bush misleading this nation into 2 costly, unpopular wars :dunno:

Now you know I am not a Bush fan. Not much of a fan of these wars either. I think they were justified but not necessarily needed. I hate how they have dragged on. But that is the curse that burdens all Presidents. If we fought wars to win wars like we should, those wars would be extremely brutal. A American President can't win a war anymore because wars now are either going to be drawn out and risk many lives or they are going to be quick (nukes) and create mass casualties.

which is why I prefer Rumsfeld Doctrine but it needs some more refinement. I lol'ed at people whining about Rumsfeld's style. Seriously.... did they expect Secretary of Defense to be all cutesy and nicey??? that's what President of United States is for! just a face for ya'all to :aw: at... or :mad2: at

:aw:

I'm more care about my state (Alabama) than federal right now, there will be governor election in my state in Nov this year, also primary election will be held on June. I'm support Tim James because he is more focus on state issues than religion, unlike Roy Moore does and our current governor is focus on state issues than religion does, that's good thing and of course, both of Bob Riley and Tim James are republican.

I'm sure that 2010 will be beneficial year for me, despite on fall of democrat under federal but I do care about state and just want Tim James to win for our state governor and don't want Roy Moore to be in office, also he lost in 2006 election, that's good thing because many Alabamians are conservative beer drinking than religious, even more moderate.

Federal government has made any errors for many years, regardless on parties and I already knew it, gotta tell you that federal is pretty nothing for really so kokonut is just too obsessed with Obama.

Nope. Read again what I said. I said "no one in general." Don't go all paranoid on me.

Hey guys, can we keep it civil in here, please? I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Politicians suck. Remember the old joke: Don't tell mom that I'm a politician. She thinks that I'm playing piano in a brothel. *drum roll* Don't forget to tip your waitress.
