So yeah.. the PFH goes to get a storage unit.

Wow

I was looking into renting a 10x10 unit. The manager tells me that there was an auction going down in a few minutes..

I decide "I like this idea." So I went along with them.. Took part. This was a large unit so I said to myself, "nice, must have big stuff, like furniture and such."

Being the gambler I am, waiting, saw it was still only $160. Bidded with this kid.. I won the unit at $300.

Opened the unit.. A car, computers, queen sized nice bed, some furniture, TV...

Not bad for a move-out day.

Yay YOU! great intuition..I am so happy for ya..Midnight♥♥♥

Wirelessly posted (sent from a smartphone. )

Never heard of that before. Maybe pfh got a pos car in there.

lol. People trying to make themselves feel important. lol. Pathetic.

Whats really interesting is that you fail to mention why you were at bidding against kids at a storage unit, posts from hell. You fail to mention what car you bought. You fail to mention a lot of things. Instead you choose to tell us about how big a gambler you are, and how you beat a kid by 140 dollars. You talk about these items as though you a big time gambler, and you don't even know why. Your snap judgements tell us everything we need to know about you, posts from hell.

Think it's fantastic!....We have Auctions here all the time, but I don't go to them anymore. For couples just starting out...might hit a goldmine....then again, some units have nothing but junk in them, but a treasure to the owner......

I learned my lesson once when I stored all my nice things into a big storage unit, and declined the insurance, as I had planned to get them out before 30 days....the unit got broken into and I lost a lot of things.

I stored a lot of stuff after I finished grad school and before I moved half-way across the country to a new job. Stored stuff for 3 months, if I recall.

When I opened it again, the rug had mice nests in it, other stuff was moldy, and in general I thought "What in God's name was I THINKING to pay good money to store this crap??"

Lesson learned. If I have to pay to store something, that means it is not doing my current life any good and I should sell it, give it to Goodwill, put it out with the trash, whatever. I will never pay good money to store anything ever again.

That guest = sounds like it is an ex -member.......

Anyway, PFH = what CAR?

Shows that a deaf person doesnt need speech skills to win a bid against hearing non-signers! WOW!!!! That's breaking newS!!!

Sorry folks. Had to tend to something called Real Life.

It's a mint 1991 Chevy Beretta. Something I will sell once I get the title and the keys in. Low mileage.

NOW believe it or not after I went boxes digging - there are things that are more interesting. I'm also expecting to find guns.

As I type I am preparing for tomorrow's inspection of the car. Will have a locksmith draft me up a key, and I have a jumpbox ready to go.

But hey!! I just added more to my fishing equipment. Yay!

I wonder if the storage place owners knew what was inside before having the auction.

Maybe they don't care about the value of the units contents and just want the stuff gone and the money owed.

They didn't. There was two locks. One lock from the renter, the other lock was from the people who run the storage facility. They unlocked one, and cut open the other after the auction.
