Power Reputation? I have seen it in many forums. Dunno what it does. And more emoticons would be nice. Btw had anyone know where is the "rofl" emoticon? I have seen it here but it isn't in the smiles section. Perhaps the Admin remove it? ":rofl:" not this one.

as for reopening religion section, why not instead create a social group and set it to private and invite only and that way you have genuine and serious members to discuss it ON TOPIC than trolling it or steer it off topics.

Power reputation - that is not a good mode. It does affect people on the forum, really.

I agree with a bunch of people before me, and would add a load more emoticons to express wider variety and more precise emotions. I'm getting the idea that many of us are used to being able to express any emotion we want as precisely as we want because of our gestural language. I've been using Yahoo's emoticons because they seem to be the best that I've found, but they might rather I didn't, I donno.
 
Oh yeah, I also agree about some way of showing the poster's state of hearing (d/hoh/h)

Cant really think of anything to be added in here since it such a great forum to come to read about what happening around the world. All i can think of is perhap a chatroom with moderator monitoring it.

Yea, I think it gets interesting when people express their views emotionally. I think it helps me learn more about each member and why they have the views they possess.

I would change that too.

Want more variety in color schemes, 3-D emoticions and a chat room so members wont go off topic when they want to chat about a issue relating to the thread and keep it going without having to hijack a thread. That would be helpful cuz we are all human in nature and we get into conversations naturally about some issues in a thread.
 
I don't see any need to change, so I would leave the way it is. I'd be glad to receive feedbacks from the members and leave up to the moderating team to make decisions.
 
Id rather let AD evolve by itself as I have seen in my 5 years here. After all, its the best managed deaf site I have been to.

Alex does rocks! Just dont let the inmates take over the asylum.
 
I think the forum should change skin frequently. Like for example, October themed skin, December themed skin, January snow themed skin, February valentine's day themed skin, March St. Patrick themed skin, November Thanksgiving themed skin.

I think it'll take out some of the sameness about AD.

I think there should be a scheduled chat room.

Some of the forums need to be organized better. I agree with Pinky for example Religion-Christian, Atheist and so on. You could try that and see how it goes. Religion is a part of everyday life. No one can avoid that.

Get rid of some of the boring forums at the bottom that isn't used often.

Add a forum on General Advice, maybe beauty forum for women? Men can join if they need advice on beauty :).
