Really?? Wow! No snow in here. It's was very windy and raining a lot. It's clear now. It's cold! I has a cold. Argh! In Indiana's rare snow in Oct 1988. I think.

Snowing this time of the year? :eek3:

You can get your husband to keep you warm. :naughty:

That's early!

I remember hearing about Stranthorpe (a small town approx 3-4 hours drive south-west of Brisbane, near the NSW border) getting some snow in November!

Shel,

I know how you feel. Today the weather forecasters said we were supposed to have snow showers, but it turned out to be mostly sunny instead. I wonder if we'll end up getting snow showers tomorrow or Wednesday. Guess it's that time of year again. Hope it won't be long until you can get your heater fixed. <hugs>

We did have snow in the mountain passes last month at around 3,000 ft elevation, that's nothing new in Washington state, it can happen that early sometimes. Well, that's kinda early for Maryland, I guess?

In the last 9 years since I have lived here...the snow starts around late January and mostly Feb. Actually, I have only lived thru ONE major snowstorm since then. Most of the time it is up to 6 inches but a blizzard, not yet and the closest was the President's Day storm in '04.

Snowed lightly in Dec 2 times in 2 different years but NEVER in November and even worse, in Oct! I live by the Chesapeake Bay. LOL!

Ahhh, I see...so that's early! We do get snow time to time after thanksgiving here in Seattle area. :) I think around at least 4-5 times since I live here for 8 years.

shel90, i was at DC 1996, it snowed about 26 inches!( not about how much inches on the ground.. it about how much fallling down..i think) i took pic and snow was about my height! lol! good memories!

I used to live in Maryland too shel and i never remember ever getting snow in october..sometimes not even november. I member on xmas there was hardly any snow either. hmmm weird. We, in ottawa canada, we have a winter Storm warning which is pretty early for us as well and white out warnings as well as really bad wind conditions:S

Was that in October? :giggle:

There was hailstones here recently. I can packed those hailstones together to make a snowball. They are soft instead of 'hard pebbles'
