Single on V-Day

So single peps, what do you do on V-Day? pamper yourself? hang with friends, family? Go find a date? Or stay at home to avoid the day at all cost? Would love to know!

When I was single on Valentine's Day, for many years, I sat at home depressed. I lost out on a lot of good time because of this.

Trust me, just go out and do something.

Maybe go out and test drive a turbocharged car. Something for a change. Make a guy jealous of you when you tell him that you drove a turbocharged car on Valentine's Day and he did not.

Valentine's Day is an excellent time to show love by volunteering for others who need love. That can be for humans or animals.

My husband doesn't get into the overly romantic stuff very much, although he usually remembers to get flowers.

I make some fun stuff happen - make cute red and white heart- shaped coasters for small gifts, stick red hearts on the front windows, make a red-velvet cake. If you want some fun in your life, don' t depend on someone else to make it happen. Make it happen for yourself.

A single female friend of mine once got a group of gals all together for Valentine's day. They dressed up pretty in black dresses and went out for ribs--the one thing you probably shouldn't go out to eat on a date.

They had the time of their lives. The waiter loved their group, and they got a great meal without having to be afraid to pig out in front of some boy they were trying to impress. If it were a weekend, I'd totally do that myself!! Tuesday night, however, not quite as much fun.

I always do a little Valentine decorating, on my front door is a Red wooden heart with chimes that says "Happy Valentine's Day!"....and both my boys have sweethearts (puppy love), and will be going to the stores for cards, baloons, etc....sometimes they get me a Card, which is a thrill...As for having a sweetheart....*sigh*...nope!...But who knows?...Maybe a secret admirer?

Always thought Valentine's Day was a special one for the guys!....Saying that Valentine's Day should be "every day" just ain't logical.....but actually would be nice.....

When your single on Valentines day. Its just another day that goes by. I don't do anything really...Might treat myself to a few things and read my book, possibly play my xbox. Mmmm those Chocolate pecan clusters are GOOD! expensive, but so good.
