Hi guys
I need your prayers. End of last week, I discovered I had another pressure sore on my upper thigh that's very bad. I had to go to the ER on Friday, and it's to my bone. Tomorrow, I have to call my surgeon for an appt, and it will be decided what will be done. I'm almost definitely looking at surgery to close this wound. It won't close on it's own, because it's too deep. That's the bad news.
The good news is that it's not infected.
I just hope they can do surgery. Earlier this year when they did that surgery, they took muscle and skin from above my knee to close the wound then. The problem now is, this will be my third such surgery (I had a similiar surgery when I was 10 ), and there may not be anymore useable muscle.
Please pray for me, and otherwise think good thoughts. I'm really devestated by what has happened. I didn't expect to be going through this again. Especially since I just completely healed from the surgery I had in April.
I will keep everyone posted to the best of my ability. As of now, I am partially bedridden, so am not around much. I suspect that once i see the surgeon, he will probably put me on total bedrest, and I won't be able to post.
