Shooting with casualties at Washington Navy Yard

I just realized that the yard is not far from 8th Street SE which is just straight upward Gallaudet University campus which is at Florida Ave NE and 8th Street NE.

That is cause your not criminal, and too goody good boy to be one of them.

no. it's because of facts. real-life facts. not movie facts.

9/11 terrorists got valid papers under false pretense... not fake one.
Fort Hood shooter got in because of proper credential... not fake one.

heck... it's even tougher now to get into a bar especially popular ones with a fake ID since a bouncer can simply verify with a simple UV flashlight or ID card verification device.

Rest assured, and I can bet you my ass, incident like this won't be the last one. There will be another one, wanna bet with me?

that's disgusting. I don't bet on such a thing. we already know this won't be the last one. it's a fact of life.

seriously... betting? :ugh:

are you really wanting to have a doomsday? you won't last even for a few days or a week at best.

Perhaps you need a chit chat with Frank W. Abagnale. He is real life crook back then and yes he is a retired felon. Ask him how he stole 4 millions dollars during early 70's. His answer might surprise you.

Do you expect every crooks going to depend on fake ID every time they commit crime? Not always, there are several factors other than just fake ID to accomplish criminal activities.

Wow! :ty: for proving my point.

let me guess.... Catch Me If You Can, eh?

um.... we're not talking about making some bad checks in here... this is about killing people....

Reports now indicate the shooter was armed with a shotgun. He initially shot the DC officer, taking his 9mm handgun, then hid and waited for first responders. Shot a first responder and took that first responder's AR-15

Crime is crime is crime, period.

Bad check is a crime, right?

Stealing is a crime, right?

Beating up somebody is a crime, right?

Killing people is a crime, right?

My point still stands, these criminals will always look for perfect opportunity. Which part of this you don't understand?

Post #39. this discussion is over as you have proved diddly squat. he stole an ID, not created a fake one. now back to news.

:ty: Steinhauer for latest news update.

Your just saying that its impossible for anyone to commit crime! You already said impossible to fake ID. Do you think criminals care about that? LOL.

exactly what point is it? what did you prove that we already knew since Day 1?

that's like saying - Hey I've proved that H2O is water!!!!

Senior law enforcement officials identified the gunman as Aaron Alexis, 34. He was identified through his fingerprints.

According to the Navy, Mr. Alexis enlisted as a full-time reservist in May 2007 and left the service in January 2011. He served as an aviation electrician, and the highest rank he achieved was mate third class. From February 2008 to January 2011, he was assigned to Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 46, in Fort Worth.

Shortly after 4 p.m., the F.B.I. released a “Seeking Information” bulletin asking for the public’s help in learning more about Mr. Alexis. The bulletin, which had two photographs of Mr. Alexis, said that he was born in Queens and was 6 feet 1 inches tall and weighed 190 pounds.

Three weapons were found on the gunman: an AR-15 assault rifle, a shotgun and a semiautomatic pistol, an official said.

“It’s hard to carry that many guns, so there is some thinking that he may have taken some of them from security or whoever else he shot,” the official said.

One federal law enforcement official said the suspected gunman had family in New York, a mother and a sister or sisters, but had not lived there.

A former senior federal law enforcement official who was briefed on the investigation said that the two potential suspects had been spotted 20 minutes after the shooting, and that witnesses saw them running with weapons, not firing them. “If you are in a military building and there is some type of attack, men wearing military uniforms will undoubtedly be seen running with guns in the aftermath, and that there would be a lot of confusion,” the official said.

Investigators were trying to determine whether any of the suspected gunmen had official access to the Navy Yard. The site is protected by a high wall, with entry through checkpoints that require official identification. However, under the “force protection status” that was believed to have been in effect early Monday, someone with official access to the site could have driven a car into the parking lot without having the trunk inspected, or could have entered on foot without a bag being searched.

I haven't had the tv on and just saw this. We have a relative who works there too. This is happening way to often. Makes me sick to my stomach.

Seems like these deranged, crazy people can be pretty smart. This guy had to have been planning this for some time. Another sad, sad day for thr USA!!
